Barr made a statement about the report that pretty much sums up the abuse of power and shoddy evidence used to spy on Trump and his team far into his presidency. Barr indicated that they had insufficient evidence and withheld escopatory evidence from the FISA courts. While The IG report stopped short of calling it "politically motivated" Barr made it perfectly clear that this is what he believes drove the whole mess.

It is now up to Durham to put out indictments and see where this all goes..

A lot of people have some serious explaining to do.

The FISA Court has demonstrated that it is absolutely not protecting our Civil Liberties from illegal spying by a Corrupt Administration as they were tasked.

NOW THAT WE ALL KNOW: FISA COURT SPEAKS

At long last, not that it can no longer be denied, the FISA court has finally taken notice of the egregious government misconduct committed in connection with the FISA warrants it approved on Carter Page. The order appears under the signature of FISA court presiding Judge Rosemary Collyer. Like so many involved in the Russia hoax, she claims only lately to have tumbled to the misconduct committed before her court, courtesy of the Department of Justice Inspector General report issued last week.

Trey Gowdy’s comment on James Comey’s midnight confession of pseudo culpability to Chris Wallace this past Sunday is applicable:

“Sometimes it’s better late than never,” Gowdy observed, “and sometimes it’s just too damn late.”

This FISA court order is too damn late. It's also too damn much of nothing. What sanctions will the court administer to the FBI officers and Department of Justice lawyers who swore that the FISA applications had been verified? "None” is not an acceptable answer. If these FBI clowns had tried this in an Article III Court, at a minimum they would be sanctioned by their Bar Association if not much much more. These FISA judges don't take their FISA duties seriously.

What a farce.
