It's literally a matter of life and death. Democrats are proposing killing millions of Americans with this Green New Deal.
They want to eliminate the use of fossil fuels. What does this mean in reality, not the imaginary world of Democrats?
- No more cars
- No more air travel
- All food will have to be locally produced
- No more heating and air-conditioning systems in our homes
- All electricity will have to be created using wind power or solar
- All plastics will be banned because they come from fossil fuels
- No more cell phones
- No more Television
- All containers will have to be made from wood, metal, or glass
- All buildings and homes will have to be remodeled to meet rigid government standards
None of this will erase the fact that countries like China and Mexico, the greatest polluters on the planet, will have to stop their practices and go along with this crazy deal to have any effect on the environment. Figure the odds on them being willing to do this. Maybe this is the Democrat's solution to the immigration problem....because nobody will want to live here after AOC's stupid deal goes into effect.

Yes, Snopes has become incredibly biased as of 2016. It wasn't always the case, it always leaned a bit to the left, just because it's on the internet, but it was never overt. I used to frequent both Snopes (for non political stories), Politifact and FactCheck.org (for political stories) daily up until around 2015. It's quite sad what had happened to these once highly-trusted publications.
A lot has changed in the past year. Snopes, Politifact and FactCheck are all currently aggressively pushing narratives. I wouldn't say it’s promoting left leaning narratives either. These sites regularly misconstrued facts during Bernie Sander’s campaign. This article really stood out to me from May of 2016. It says that a viral image does not show a recent Bernie rally. However, video from the event[1] shows that it was, in fact, taken from the same event. Snopes never explained why they thought it was taken from a previous rally. They just insisted it did.
This happened dozens of times during Bernie’s campaign.
However, more recently they have been aggressively pushing a pro-Clinton (and anti-Trump) narrative almost daily.

…the site has tried to pose as a political fact-checker. But Snopes’ “fact-checking” looks more like playing defense for prominent Democrats like Hillary Clinton and it’s political “fact-checker” describes herself as a liberal and has called Republicans “regressive” and afraid of “female agency.”
Snopes’ main political fact-checker is a writer named Kim Lacapria. Before writing for Snopes, Lacapria wrote for Inquisitr, a blog that — oddly enough — is known for publishing fake quotes and even downright hoaxes as much as anything else.

She described herself as “openly left-leaning” and a liberal. She trashed the Tea Party as “teahadists.” She called Bill Clinton “one of our greatest” presidents. She claimed that conservatives only criticized Lena Dunham’s comparison of voting to sex because they “fear female agency.”
