Obama's 'Proud Accomplishment' Starkly Contrasts With Reality

George W. Bush inherited a strong economy, a budget surplus, and a nation at peace.

Eight years later, he left Obama with a shattered economy, a trillion dollar deficit, and two useless wars.

Obama saved the country from another Great Depression, rebuilt GM, reformed healthcare, reformed Wall Street, doubled the stock market, created 12 straight quarters of GDP growth, created 30 straight months of private sector job growth, got Bin Laden, got Gaddafi, and got us out of Iraq.

And now with the automatic spending cuts and the expiration of the Bush tax cuts in 2012, Obama has solved the deficit problem as well.

Obama has done a very good job.

Actually__ Clinton left him a recession.

Don't you feel stupid? Nah. You're too stupid to feel as stupid as you should.

Also, you can't even defend Obama's record. How sorry is that?

Frightening isn't it. This is what he calls accomplishment.

Compared to Obamacare, the stimulus, bailouts, immigration, Fast & Furious, the recovery; it kinda does look like one of his 'prouder accomplishments' :lmao:

Fast and Furious was pure Bush and the Republicans.

Romney wants immigrants to come he and bosses of those in his base.

The Stimulus worked.

Bin Laden is dead, GM is alive.

See? Right wingers can't recognize success even when it's right in their face. No wonder they vote for Bush, McCain, Romney and others of that "ilk".

In February, Obama said, “One of the proudest things of my three years in office is helping to restore a sense of respect for America around the world, a belief that we are not just defined by the size of our military.”

In case of a discrepancy between reality and Obama, reality is wrong.

Right, USMB lefties?

Do any of you ever talk to anyone outside of your own little mindsets? Just curious.

I've got internet friends from India, Palestine, Australia, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Greece Spain, England, Ireland, Scotland, Canada, Finland, Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, Kuwait, United Arab Emerates, France, and New Zealand and they all say the same things: They like Americans, hated everything about the Bushreich, they like Obama. Except for the friend in India. He hates everything connected to Bush, but he doesn't much like Obama. He likes Ron Paul.

No economy when Bush took over was in recession due to the silcon valley bubble bursting, so get your facts straight.
A budget surpluss, so democrats want a surplus only when republicans are President?
And a nation at peace, hmmm, World Trade Center was bombed in 1993, USS Cole was bombed in 2000, so I wouldnt say at peace, oh and then in 2001 9/11 happened but you'd just let that one go, eh?

"Bushreich"?

It's handy when moonbats reveal themselves so early on. Makes it easy to dismiss everything they say.

Meanwhile -- so what? They don't have a say in our internal affairs, no more than I have a say in theirs.

So their opinions are meaningless.

It's a deflection tropism. Criticize Obama, they mention Bush. Criticize Islam, they mention Christianity.

They simply can't help it. It's hard-wired in.

Fantastic post....not a "great" job...but a damn good one.

As we get closer to Election Day, you certainly are reminded of what freak-show the GOP would have installed given the chance.
