You are wrong and your reply demonstrates your total ignorance of what took place in Ukraine last winter.
Wisconsin can or could decide to become part of Canada if there were parallel events and curcumstances Involving the relationship between the state and the Federal US government. Here are the ABC's on that relationship as it compares to the relationship between Crimea, Russia and Ukraine.
A. Wisconsin voluntarily chose to join the US Federation of States. Crimea did not voluntarily choose to be joined to Ukraine. Kruschev 'gave' Crimea to Ukraine in 1954 when it did not appear to be such a big deal as all parties remained part of the Soviet Union.
B. There has been no constitutional crisis in the US Capitol where the violent mobs of anti-Canadian protesters were throwing molotov cocktails and bricks at Federal and local police. There was no resulting coup d'tat of a US sitting president as a result of rightwing led violence against the US Federal government.
C. The US military and police are more powerful and capable than the Canadian security forces. In contrast the Russian security forces heavily outmatch the virtually non-existant Ukrainian armed forces last winter.
So what that all means is that your argument has no merit.
Do I need to explain it further or do you accept the error of your ways?
