Obama's Approval Rating - 1 Year Anniversary for Solid Red

We can always count on PMH to make an absolutely pointless remark.

Toddle along, boring person.

How long before you learn that American Politics is a cycle? The cycle is always the same, wait a few years, get mad over things they can't control, and throw the bums out, whereupon it starts all over again.

He is a failed president. He would not have got elected if GW Bush and Dick Cheney had not sold America a rotten bill of goods on Iraq. then came all the "hope" and "change" crap in 2008. McCain didn't have a chance. Worst thing about GW and neo-con's? They gave us Obama.

you seem to forget that this is a debate board where you will find most on the left supporting everything and anything Obama does regardless of how unpopular it is amongst the general public. And yes, it goes with those on the right as well.

SO a thread such as this has nothing to do with "re-election" likeliness or "the cycle of politics"...it is letting those ON THIS BOARD on the left know that their "perfect man" is not as popular as they claim.

Get it?

Obama is just a man. The left is well aware of that however the right, especially here, not so much.

Sad and childish diversion from the intent and meaning of my post.

You may carry on child. Lunch recess is almost over.

We can read polls. Thanks anyway.

As of today, Obama's composite approval rating on RealClearPolitics has been completely negative solid red for one year.

Hopenchange!

What a great indicator for the November 2014 elections.

RealClearPolitics - Election Other - President Obama Job Approval

I wouldn't say it's a great indicator because Republicans are going to be in a dogfight to protect Kentucky and Georgia according to the same website you posted. Iowa is a toss up and so are many other states.

I would see around September-October time and what the polls are showing. The casual voter isn't paying attention to the politics in June. I do but like you, I am an avid follower of politics.

Once you factor out the people who disapprove of the president's job because of his inability to overcome GOP obstructionism,

he looks pretty good.

those evil GOPers...not caving in on initiatives they have been against for decades!

I agree Bush & Cheney helped Obama defeat McCain, but that was not the worst of that adminitration. the deaths of americans and other many, many other human beings in Iraq WAS.

Not to the hard core left who deified him amongst his styrofoam pillars.

Just sayin'.

The hard-core left not only can't drive the agenda, the can't get Obama to come to the phone. If they could this could be a much different discussion.

The Dems are getting desperate and bailing on Obama. Obama is just milking the Presidency for Perks, and showing no actual leadership. As amusing as it is politically, it's a disaster for the country, cf. Putin's aggression.

Hopenchange!

You are dense as dirt.

Obama's entire agenda caters to the hard left. It's why we have the ObamaCare fiasco, the EPA killing the coal industry, no action on the Keystone, and the entire panoply of Foreign Relations/National Security disasters.

None of that is anything but normal Dems at work, in a fucked up world. We've been trying to get Universal Health Care since FDR could walk without assistance.
