Obamacare Economy: 7 Years, 16 million Jobs Created, Middle Class Incomes Up $3K

Ah yes...the Bush record on jobs! Which of course was ravaged by the housing market's collapse and the subsequent recession...something that Bush himself warned about repeatedly prior to the crash but Democrats like Barney Frank pooh poohed as fear mongering?
So why can't I get a straight answer on this from the forum's lying con tool??

In response to Bush's repeated warnings, why didn't the Republican-led Congress do anything about it?
They did.....they killed a bi-partisan "Reform Bill".......at the request of the WH......

We now have 7 full years of economic data since President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act (ACA or “Obamacare”). So, as Republicans in Washington continue their relentless assault on the ACA, it’s a good time to take stock of how America actually fared in the Obamacare Economy.

Before turning to the facts, a reminder of the narrative that the GOP has been pushing about the ACA for so long:

“It will bankrupt our nation, and it will ruin our economy! … This health care law … is already destroying jobs in our country.” — John Boehner, 2011

“We now know that Obamacare has been one of the single biggest drags on job creation since early 2010.” — Mitch McConnell, 2012

“[T]his is going to blow a hole through the deficit even more than we had already thought.” — Paul Ryan, 2012

“Obamacare is directly responsible for destroying jobs and lowering wages for workers” — Senate Republican Policy Committee, 2014

“It is the biggest job-killer in this country.” — Ted Cruz, 2016

“Obamacare is devastating businesses." — Donald Trump, 2016

“Obamacare … this disastrous policy that's been killing jobs." — Mike Pence, 2016

Let’s tackle these false “job-killing, wage-reducing, deficit-busting” myths one by one:

The Obamacare Economy: 7 Years, 16 Million Jobs Created, Middle-Class Incomes Up $3K

I hate to bust your bubble, but here is an inconvenient fact for you: the last quarter that the U.S. economy great at 4% or higher, was the 2nd quarter of 2007. Obama is the first president to never experience economic growth of 4& or higher in a single quarter of his two terms in office. The last time the U.S. economy went this long without growth of 4% or higher was during the Great Depression in the 1930's! Please feel free to try and spin this!

This ain't no damned Chinese Buffet, boy!

So? Bush's only 2 years where it was above 3% were when his real estate bubble pushed it there.

Ain't ya proud?

Petulant former President Barack Hussein Obama, the ONLY president in history to not have a single year of growth above three percent.

Ain't ya proud?

In response to Bush's repeated warnings, why didn't the Republican-led Congress do anything about it?

Because it is far easier to be a far left Progressive than a Conservative.

As seen by the events leading up to the mortgage/housing/financial meltdown, Here, starting with President Clinton the offer was that they were going to make more loans available to minorities by lowering the standards. Which, if you think about it, is pretty insulting to minorities in and by itself.

It goes on with Progressives offer more and more and easier and easier ways to borrow money. Loans made to people who have no decent credit ratings, a job history or experience being responsible for such a loan.

Then came the NO DOC loans where because people may have trouble verifying their income because much is in tips or cash, this would help minorities too.

So to argue that this was not promoting personal responsibility meant you were racist and how were these people to learn?

That then was the club used to beat Conservatives/Republicans into submission.

After a wonderful day on the links, I've returned to more of the Dumb & Dumber show here at the US Message Board!

In order to make Barry's economic record look somewhat better than it was...Slim is now redoing the calendar...and Faun is lauding jobs created after the GOP took control of Congress away from Obama and the 2010 midterms elected GOP Governors throughout the country! Barry didn't create those jobs! They were created DESPITE him!

Prouder than a Bush fluffer who has to celebrate Bush wrecking the economy to boast of a year above 3%.

Do you ever stop lying, ya con tool?

Ever??

Earlier, you were talking down the job growth under Obama. After being shown what a moron you are for doing so, you switch to make the idiotic claim that Republicans

How can Republicans have anything to do with the job growth which began well before the 2010 election? Growth in the private sector began in March, 2010 -- 9 months before the election and almost a year before Republicans took control in 2011.

Just how fucking deranged are you to credit Republicans for job growth long before they took over??

giphy.gif

And where's your answer ... ? Why didn't Republicans do anything in response to Bush's warnings during all those years they controlled the Congress?

Don't fool yourself into believing no one notices how you're too scared to answer that.

I love how you Obama fluffers credit Barry with job creation...but when you're asked what Obama policy it was that created jobs...you can't come up with anything that he did to create jobs!

Obama gave us the ACA...which hurt job creation.

Obama proposed Cap & Trade legislation...which would have REALLY hurt job creation!

The Obama Stimulus spent nearly a trillion dollars yet created so few jobs that they resorted to hiding how many were created behind a made up number..."Jobs created or saved"!

Jobs were created, They were created in the energy sector because of fracking...something that Obama opposed...but then took credit for both the jobs that it created and the lower cost of energy it provided!

As for why Republicans in Congress didn't do anything about the looming crisis in the housing market? Because they were afraid of being branded as racists by the media? Because it's politically hard to take away things that have been given to people...even though it's the right thing to do? The fact is...our government pressured lending institutions into making loans to people that didn't qualify for them under established banking norms. The housing bubble that collapsed and took the economy down was created because of that and Republicans in Congress are fully as guilty for that collapse as Democrats because they DIDN'T stand up and fight for what was prudent. Give Bush credit for doing something that few other Republicans were willing to do in Washington.

Face reality. Like it or not, just like Bush gets credit for adding 1 million jobs during his 8 years in office, Obama gets credit for adding 11 million during his.

Barry was good at taking credit for things that he had ZERO to do with...like the boom in oil and natural gas production that fracking created! In doing so however...what he did was underscore how ineffective HIS policies really were when it came to creating jobs.

Politicians get votes by giving people things. They lose them by taking things away...especially when in doing so they leave themselves wide open to accusations that they hate minorities or the poor. That goes for both parties.
