Obama widens lead in Electoral College polling

So to put it in perspective, Obama needs 23 to win.

Florida by itself, game over.

Ohio plus Nevada.
Ohio plus Colorado
Ohio Plus Iowa

VA plus NV plus NH.
NC plus NV plus NH.
NC plus CO

You get the idea.

Romney needs a near sweep of swing states. Possible, but it would take Obama being involved in a major screw up

How many more major screw ups by Obama can one nation stand?

Nice try..

But the things you are calling major screw ups are leading Obama to a major victory over Romney. Just because FoxNews says so doesn't make it a screwup.

Romney will need a game changing event to win

Which is NOTHING like the seemingly endless unemployment situation.

Be confident hack, Romney will never mention the abysmal jobs situation or the fact that we are back in a recession due to Obama's utter failure.

You're safe, relax.

Obamas unemployment numbers are not much worse than Reagans and he was handed a significantly worse economy. Just like voters blamed Carter for Reagans economy they blame Bush for Obamas economy.

Romney can mention whatever he wants, but he cant defend the horrid condition they left the country in four short years ago

I think you underestimate where the blame lands. It's been a full presidential term, with lots of missteps.

Are you saying you don't blame Obama at all for the state of the economy?

If a president is capable of singlehandedly fixing an economy, why do we ever have recessions, or slow growth, or inflation, or stagflation, or depressions?

Am I happy?

Happy that Republicans will be kept away from the presidency for four more years? Happy that Republicans will be unable to trash Healthcare? Happy that Republicans can't slash taxes more or raise taxes on the poor? Happy that Republicans will not be able to return to raping the environment?

Hell yea.....I'm happy

I asked if you were happy that Obama would be "leading" the country for four more years, not whether you wanted Republicans to win.

Noted, you don't really like Obama, you are just afraid of the evil conservatives.

Wow.

Obama is leading the country to the extent that a Republican stonewalled Congress will let him. Any meaningful legislation to help the country out of a stagnant economy is out of the question.

At least we have Obamas cool hand leading our foreign policy instead of big stick republicans. He also has shown a willingness to bypass republican obstructionism through executive orders

Obama could do better if Republicans would end their Temper Tantrum and start doing what is best for the country

True, presidents aren’t dictators, only Congress can enact legislation designed to address the Nation’s economic problems. A given administration may make proposals and work with Congressional staffers to forge legislation, but Congress is ultimately responsible.

And the House and Senate republicans failed to meet that responsibility when they announced their sole goal was to ‘get rid of Obama.’

November is going to be a HUGE blow to democrats. They will undoubtably say the election was stolen.

This is one election that will be decided by the debates imo. If Romney does well, he will squeak out a very close win in the electoral college. If he doesn't do well, Obama wins big. The thing is that this is Obama's to lose. Romney has to sell independents on the idea that cutting taxes is really the answer to all of our economic problems. Obama must sell independents on just how stupid that idea is considering it hasn't worked in the last decade. He has to prove to independents that all it has done is reduced government revenues leading to these massive deficits. He really is going to have to drive this home and take a chance by pushing this to the limit. It's not about fairness, it's about reality, and this is the message he must get across.

The far right has been saying that cutting taxes is the thing to do for so long they lost sight of the fact that it hasn't worked, yet they keep going back to the well for more of the same. It's like someone having a bad cut and bleeding profusely and thinking that the way to stop the bleeding is to cut himself a few more times. If Obama and the Dems push this message to the hilt, they'll win not just the White House, but they will likely also take back the House and increase their lead in the Senate. I'm just not certain anyone in Obama's campaign has the balls to do this. Both of these campaigns have to date been run like shit. There just is no message from either candidate. Someone should hire Rove. Like him or not, he new how to win a campaign.

Without question... It's why they are attacking the States cleaning up their voter roles so harshly.

You mean trying to expunge minorities from the voter rolls?

Because here's the thing. The Bush Administration tried to find widespread voter fraud, and couldn't.

Obviously because in the past, the recessions have just been bad luck on the part of the Republican Presidents. In Obama's case, it's because he hates America, the American People, puppies, etc... <sarcasm off>
