Obama the only president in American history to serve two complete terms with the nation at war.

WASHINGTON — President Obama came into office seven years ago pledging to end the wars of his predecessor, George W. Bush. On May 6, with eight months left before he vacates the White House, Mr. Obama passed a somber, little-noticed milestone: He has now been at war longer than Mr. Bush, or any other American president.

Another legacy milestone for the bathroomster
What's your solution? Bail on the nightmares he inherited? Just shirk our responsibilities? Tell us, what is your solution? Remember, you're partially responsible by voting for Bush.

We were still in a state of war with Iraq from 1991.

Your babbling doesn't change the fact that your OP is a lie.

If the lessons of Iraq don't sink now, they never will

Are you kidding? The Republicans are ready to go back into Iraq in full force.

Yeah, no sinking took place.

Obama is doing the best job in Iraq right now that could be done, if we're going to be there at all. He is helping the Iraqis learn to help themselves,

and not simply sending US troops do the fighting and dying for them.

You mean he's not disbanding the army? What is he some sort of Islamofascist?

This OP is stupid, we have not been at war with anyone since 1945.

Army shrinks to smallest level since before World War II

The Army’s latest headcount shows that nearly 2,600 soldiers departed active service in March without being replaced, an action that plunges manning to its lowest level since before World War II.

During the past year the size of the active force has been reduced by 16,548 soldiers, the rough equivalent of three brigades.

Endstrength for March was 479,172 soldiers, which is 154 fewer troopers than were on active duty when the Army halted the post-Cold War drawdown in 1999 with 479,424 soldiers, the smallest force since 1940, when the active component numbered 269,023 soldiers.

Bang up job he's done in training AQI to fight for him in Syria in an undeclared war without congressional approval and watching on the sideline as AQI became ISIL.

Nice how 1/2 a billion dollars went to the Muslim Brotherhood to light the Middle East on fire.

Thanks Hillary and Obama for destroying the stability that had been won in Iraq. A stability that both Obama and Biden praised and took as their accomplishment.

You can't bath in the glory of a victory and then claim that when your following action destroy the victory that this is really to be blamed on your predecessor.

Anyone with a brain can see through that bullshit.

The Army Times doesn't say that.
