It is absolutely inane (and predictable from a partisan hack) that you seem to think that Obama is somehow the victim that was willing to compromise the entire time but the republicans just would not play along. One of the cornerstones of the presidency is acting as the intermediary and leader to get people to the table and compromise. Obama was not interested in that one single bit. His ‘elections have consequences’ shows just what his mindset was. The republicans actually did try with the ACA but the reality was that Obama simply did not need them to pass it so he didn’t bother with them.

The process is broken and Obama gets a hefty portion of that blame. He campaigned on being the ‘uniter’ and has utterly and totally failed in that respect. Those of you that have your nose planted squarely in his ass make excuses all damn day for him but he is the damn president – you don’t get to make excuses at that level. Hillary, if she wins this next cycle, will be no damn better.
