Obama Passes Out White Hoods..er, Coats

dudes in many commercials on T.V wear white lab coats and they are not Doctors.... they must be socialists.

Good thread!
Did you happen to catch the reports on both CNN and FOX this morning where over 40 of the doctors who had been invited had no idea why they had been invited. And that they in no way supported this fiasco of a healthcare plan?
That fiasco yesterday was nothing more than another Obama dog and pony show. And the ignorant libs buy into that shit. Too freakin' funny!

Really? If I were invited to the WH, no matter who was president, I'd want to know why I'd been invited. Wouldn't you, wouldn't anyone? Who gets invited to the WH and doesn't ask 'why'? I find it hard to believe that these 40 had no clue why they were there and find it even harder to believe that they didn't bother to ask before attending, especially in light of everything that's going on now. Health care reform going, they're doctors, they get invited to the WH, . . . and they never bothered to ask why they were invited? :doubt:
From what I gathered in the story, it was under the premise of a conference with the president. They were never told it was a NEWS CONFERENCE. They had no idea what the conference was about. Just that it had to do with medical issues. That's most likely why they didn't show up in lab coats. Why would a doctor wear a lab coat to a conference with the president?
I have a feeling the prez's aides decided they needed more people in the crowd to prop it up, and probably went through the phone book trying to find doctors, ANY DOCTORS, to make the scene more credible.
This is just another embarrasment in what's becoming a long list of embarrasments for this sham presidency.

Thanks for the info. If it were me I'd still ask lots more questions before saying I'd go, especially since health care reform surrounds us and especially if my views on reform differed from the president's. I'd want to know exactly what they wanted me there for . . . but maybe that's just me.

No, I think MOST of us would do that.

4 out of 5 dentists that prefer trident gum ARE communists. That fifth is the only capitalist and he would rather show up to a teabagging rally than play the commercial game of a Stalinist.

Yep, that's one GULLIBLE poster right there.:lol::lol:

If the president (any president) asked me to jump I wouldn't say 'how high?', I'd ask 'why, what for?' first, then decide if I was going to jump or not. But . . . . I wouldn't arbitrarily jump just cause the prez said to.
I agree.
But, just because they graduated with a medical degree, doesn't mean they have any common sense.
Hell, we now have a president who graduated from Harvard, and is showing absolutely no common sense whatsoever!

Yet another blog mocking this staged medical "news conference" event...

Yesterday’s staged event at the White House Rose Garden was another of Obama smoke and mirror attempts to bamboozle the American people into accepting the Democrats crappy health care reform:

From The New York Post:

A sea of 150 white-coated doctors, all enthusiastically supportive of the president and representing all 50 states, looked as if they were at a costume party as they posed in the Rose Garden before hearing Obama's pitch for the Democratic overhaul bills moving through Congress.

The physicians, all invited guests, were told to bring their white lab coats to make sure that TV cameras captured the image.

But some docs apparently forgot, failing to meet the White House dress code by showing up in business suits or dresses.

So the White House rustled up white coats for them and handed them to the suited physicians who had taken seats in the sun-splashed lawn area.

All this to provide a visual counter to complaints from other doctors that pending legislation is bad news for the medical profession.

Ah, but Gateway Pundit has the real scoop on this sham event.

From Gateway Pundit:

What the media won't tell you is that the doctors were former members of the "Doctors for Obama" organization.

150 doctors including supporters from Doctors for America, the former Doctors for Obama organization, assembled on the White House lawn today for a Astroturfed show with the president.

FOX News reported:

The doctor made a White House call Monday -- 150 of them, in fact, all costumed in white hospital coats -- to try to help President Obama administer a booster shot to his ailing health care reform drive.

White House spokesman Reid Cherlin described the assembled physicians, from all 50 states, as the best voices for reform because they witness the current health care system on a day-to-day basis.

"These folks know better than anybody about what works and what doesn't," Cherlin told FOXNews.com, adding that the physicians come from "a variety of groups that we work with."

But the doctors in the Rose Garden were all supporters of health care reform -- and the invitation-only guest list drew heavily fromDoctors for America, a grassroots organization that backs a government-run insurance option.

Roughly 98 percent of the group's 15,000 members support a public insurance option, Doctors for America spokeswoman Megan Smith told FOXNews.com. She said roughly 40 of the 150 doctors who attended the meeting were from the organization.

Cherlin insisted that the doctors "were not invited based on their support for a public option."

So the White House said the doctors were not invited based on their support? Yeah right.

I wonder who got stuck paying the tab for all of those white coats? Wasting taxpayer’s money on stagecraft like this when we are waltzing with bankruptcy is the height of irresponsibility.

Has he served one single without embarrassing himself?

It is amazing how an election team that ran a strong campaign (though aided greatly be the media) could prove so incredibly inept once in power. There is always a learning curve, but when I think of Obama White House staff meetings, I can't get this tune out of my head...

Meh...I guess people see what they want to see.

And project what they want to project, too. Although if the intent is to somehow link the Prez with the KKK, I don't see it having much of a chance of working.

Ah good, you're back. Tho you seem to have not seen our questions on why you put "white hoods" in your title.

Could you explain that for us, please? And not by running away... (Tho that would be an answer of sorts too :eusa_whistle: )
