Obama Not Perfect But Better than What We have Had

... in our last 4 presidents. Or anything Republicans have to offer.

What exactly has he done? Close gitmo? Passed a healthcare bill the majority of the people didn't want? Got our troops out of Iraq? Fulfilled his promise of bipartisanship? Fulfilled his promise of transparency? No jobs for lobbyest? Earmark reform? Fullfilled his promise of new jobs? Ended rendition?

In the first 19 months of the Obama administration, the federal debt held by the public increased by $2.5260 trillion, which is more than the cumulative total of the national debt held by the public that was amassed by all U.S. presidents from George Washington through Ronald Reagan.

Closing Gitmo was blocked by the Senate. People did want Health Care Reform and he was elected to do that. Yes the troops are leaving Iraq. Dealing with the radical right is a pipe dream. Economic stimuls according to the CBO created 3 million+ jobs and the GOP cried up it was too much spending. ( what do you want?) CBO projected the Bush Tax cuts as 55% of the National debt.

It's sad that you actually believe what you say.

Obama has been following Bush's foreign policy perfectly and you do not have the honesty to admit it. People wanted healthcare REFORM numbnuts., not OBAMACARE. The troops are NOT leaving Iraq. The CBO reports on the information it gets, trash in trash out. If what you say were true and 3 million jobs were created, then explain why the unemployment numbers continue to rise? And why did congress extend unemployement benefits?

What I want is the size of government to be reduced by at least half, I want the departments of education, energy, IRS among others to be abolished. I want to the feds to stop all forms of welfare, it should be the States responsibility. I want to stop funding bullshit like Planned Parenthood and NPR. I want the government to stop wasting money on voicemail for the homeless, sponsoring nascar drivers, shooting Air Force One photo ops, just to name a few.

He is about par with Carter, and recently he seems worse. He is a bumbling fool in the office, and he keeps doing things that are so very cringeworthy.

Inexperience combined with arrogance usually leads to bumbling foolishness.

No one has Presidential experience. They said Bush had exprerience and look how that turned out. But I agree Carter was handed a horrible situation much like Obama.
And, like Carter, only made it worse.

The Senate has absolutely no power to stop The Obama from closing Gitmo.

People did want Health Care Reform and he was elected to do that.
He was elected to bring change - to deliver us from the evils that were the policies of the Bush administration -- instead, He has only continues, if not expanded those policies.

Your secular messiah duped you.

Yes the troops are leaving Iraq.
Under the plan put in place by GWB.

Dealing with the radical right is a pipe dream.
Dealing with the raidical left is a pipe dream.

Economic stimuls according to the CBO created 3 million+
Horsepoo. There's been no such job creation.

CBO projected the Bush Tax cuts as 55% of the National debt.
Horsepoo. There's no such projection.

I am sitting here trying to figure just what you think makes it better than what we had before.

All I see is another utter Failure of a President. Another Liar, Another Idiot. The Only difference is this idiot is extremely arrogant and has been told his whole life he is smarter than he really is.

Which one could say makes him even worse than Bush.

This thread is funny.

Liberal logic: "My ex wife cheated on my 10 times. But my current wife has only cheated 5 times. HOORAY for my current wife!!!!!!"

100% of the national debt is the result of government spending, almost all of it on Democrat social programs. Obama had a veto proof Senate, yet he still couldn't get his plan to shutdown gitmo through it? that doesn't speak to the competence of his plan.

But The Republicans didn't set the bar very high.

The Republican set the bar on Obama?
Not quite doofus.
Obama belongs to the 65.5 million idiots who voted for him.
Not me.

lol No I din't say you did. I said Republican presaidents have been so bad that anyone would(could) be a better president.

I don't see a difference:
Had two wars--now we have three:blowup:
Bush had stimulus-- Obama had stimulus:laugh2:
Still have Gitmo.:splat:
Still have the Patriot Act.
Still have a deficit.
Questions about the legitimacy of both Presidencies.:eusa_shhh:
Both are hated by the other party.

Oh...yes...Bush never tried to shove socialize medicine, that we don't want, don't need and can't afford, down our throats. I guess there is a difference.

On the last point; you're wrong; unless you don't think you're paying for the prescription drug benefit for seniors and that big pharma just all of the sudden decided to stop charging for many of its most expensive medications.

Amazingly somehow your paying for these meds for other people whom you don't know is not socialism, your paying for health insurance for other people whom you don't know is socialism.

Theres plenty of hypocrisy to go around.

Obama's deficits are larger that entire Reagan's budgets

You can blame the deficits on Bush tax cuts, the collapse of the economy and wars none of which are Obama's fault. maybe the expanding of war in Afghanistan.

I don't think you can blame the whole thing on the tax cuts and the war but its not hard to see the yin and the yang...spending billions of dollars to protect oil for no monetary gain (could you imagine how much the price of gas would be if we "lost") while cutting taxes at home is a recipe for disaster and guess what; we had a disaster on Bush's watch.

I-fucked-you-all-but-thanks-for-blaming-it-on-the-black-guy.jpg

Of course some right wing guy will come on and say it's nonsense to which I hope they will also point out sometime in the past where we had major war spending on one side of the books and the POTUS decided we didn't need to fund it on the other side.

Obama's stimulus created up to 3.3 million jobs, CBO says

When Obama was elected employment was 144,657,000 and now it's 139,864,000; no jobs have been created and 4,793,000 people have lost jobs.

On his second day in office Obama said Gitmo would be closed in one year and where the prisoners were going was not a problem. Now the failure of the empty gesture is blamed on others.

When Obama was elected the US military was fighting in Europe and Asia. Now we're fighting in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

This is worse.
