Still waiting to see actual 1040s that show a decrease in tax rates. Mine went up due to AMT. None of the tax cuts promised by the stimulus made it to anyone I know.

Of course that all changes with amount of dependents, write offs etc. A person making 250k a year at 39.6 percent will pay approx 98k in taxes. It will be substantially more than 300 bucks. And of course the AMT comes in to kick your ass too.

thats because they need to be extended to ALLOf course Republicans had a chance to compromise on the sunset of the unfunded Bush tax cuts for the wealthy.
When they expire they expire for everyone.
Democrats were more then happy to compromise and leave them for 95% of the electorate.
