on a one way cul-de-sac
apparently, he thinks that it's just fine to lie when it suits his purposes.

hope and change, change and hope, i am not a crook.

"There are two problems with the Obama proposal to allow federal officials to affirmatively assert that a requested document doesn't exist when it does. First, by not citing a specific exemption allowed under the FOIA as grounds for denying a request, the proposal would cut off a requestor from appealing to the courts. By thus creating an area of federal activity that is completely exempt from judicial review, the proposal undercuts due process and other constitutional protections. Second, by creating a justification for government lying to FOIA requestors in one area, a legal precedent is created that sooner or later will be asserted by the government in other areas as well."

Exatly, Del. But I think Obama is worse than Nixon. Nixon had an enemies list that had perhaps 20 names on it. Obama has enemy states he is trying sue, the entire Republican group of citizens are terrorists, and it's just fine that his Attorney General won't touch any white person who is denied or intimidated by blacks to vote, because the blacks "Are my people!" (Eric Holder)

Not even mentioning Obama's plan is now to circumvent the Congress.

Hoping for your recovery, Foxbots.

Translation: "I can't handle a black president." 180 degrees, 100% wrong. NBPP: IDIOCY< dittohead. Change the channel...

Obama is trying to help the country. Republicans are trying to bring it down in the hopes it harms him. Republicans - Party first. Everyone else - country first.

My gawd! You really DO masturbate to a life sized poster of Obama.

rdean and truthmocker - party before country

The rest of America - let's see if we can make the 2 of them small enough to drown in a bathtub.

and everyone from both parties - let's see if we can ignore franco into leaving.

What do our opponents mean when they apply to us the label "Liberal?" If by "Liberal" they mean, as they want people to believe, someone who is soft in his policies abroad, who is against local government, and who is unconcerned with the taxpayer's dollar, then the record of this party and its members demonstrate that we are not that kind of "Liberal." But if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal."
President John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Goodnight dittoheads- How old are you people to make this comparison? 12?

If this proposal is what it sounds like, we're approaching something which could be called "evil".

Once upon a time I read a quote from Obama which I remember as something like, It's wrong for the government to lie but they don't have to tell everything.

Can anyone help me pull that up?
