I don't defend Hopey Changey very often but i feel i have to on this one. What do these "Activists" want him to do? He is already spending $Billions on AIDS research. His predecessor did the same thing. These greedy & selfish "Activists" need to grow up and understand that there are other diseases in this country. AIDS is not the only disease that kills Americans. Many other diseases get funding as well. They really already are spending several $Billions on AIDS research. What more do these loons want this President to do?

As far as Gay Marriage goes,he opposed it right from the start. He said this all throughout the Presidential campaign. So the man didn't mislead anyone on that issue. The military is, or was not ever, a safe environment for homosexuals. All of the arrogant elitists can hope for life on earth to be their version of heaven, but the sad truth is homosexuality in the military can lead to extreme violence, and the destruction of good people. If you never served, then you have no idea. I had a very good friend thrown out, and I protected him, but he deserved it.
