Obama called a 'Traitor' In France

Fonda realizes that what Obama did are actions of what Usurpers do when they take over. The founders warned us of such a possibility. They warned of having a man in power without sole allegiance to the USA and that is why they wanted a natural born citizen born to two US citizen parents with born sole allegiance to America. Obama was born with Allegiance to the British Crown and now we are seeing those divided loyalties in action. The man is not eligible Constitutionally.

Peter Fonda calls Obama 'traitor' at Cannes - Yahoo! News

Peter Fonda launched a four-letter attack on US President Barack Obama at the Cannes film festival on Wednesday, calling him a traitor over the handling of the aftermath of the Gulf oil spill.

The star of the 1969 road movie "Easy Rider" was in Cannes for the premiere of "The Big Fix" by Rebecca and Josh Tickell, the only feature documentary in the official selection at the Cannes film festival this year.

Fonda -- a keen environmentalist and co-producer of the film which centres on the explosion of the BP oil rig Deepwater Horizon, the ensuing spill and its consequences -- accused Washington of trying to gag reporting on the issue.

"I sent an email to President Obama saying, 'You are a f(expletive) traitor,' using those words... 'You're a traitor, you allowed foreign boots on our soil telling our military -- in this case the coastguard -- what they can and could not do, and telling us, the citizens of the United States, what we could or could not do'."

Since when does the right put any faith in what comes out of france or the mouths of actors for that matter??

Last I heard they could care less for both. LOL

BTW when and where did the founding fathers speak of wanting a natural born citizen to consist of being born to parents who were both born in country??

dr smith, i thought you died or something. damn dude your rep is down to 14 mow. wtf?

Thanks for trolling but what does rep have to do with anything and do you actually believe that rep, which can be artificially inflated, gives your opinions validity??

BTW if you don't have anything to offer about what I said then why bother commenting??

Let me guess, trolling is all that you have to offer?? Got it.

You seem to have everything upside down and backwards. Barney got worthy poor mortgages. Pubs made it a fraud bubble.

You clearly have absolutely no idea about Franks, his connection to this particular mess, or the facts of what actually happened. I'd stop digging now if I were you.

Not to deny Barney Franks did try to step in to block any reform, but Franks is one man and his party was in the minority. The House ruling GOP didn't do anything either. And wasn't getting everyone in a home part of the GOP 2004 Platform ala the Ownership Society?
BOTH parties hold responsibility, from GOP/Dem control of the Senate (the revolving door of power), to the GOP control of the House to President Clinton to President GWB, it's that plain and simple.

WOW! Please tell me that you are grasping at that lame ass argument where the right tries to blame the left for the right's inaction back when they controlled congress and didn't do anything to stop the banking crisis.

Fact is that republicans controlled the congress and chose to do NOTHING. They had the majority and didn't even send a bill to the floor for a vote so how can you blame democrats??
However, these FACTS didn't stop the right from trying to hold the dems accountable for the inaction of their own party. There was even a youtube video that was produced after dems took the majority in 2006 with cut and spliced clips of dems claiming that things were "ok" back in 2003 and 2004 but it was republicans who were in charge until 2006 and chose to do NOTHING. In that clip the right tries to hold then majority committee chairman accountable for the inaction of the congress back in 2003 and 2004 when he was in the minority.

It's just sad how far some rightwing partisans will go to blame someone else instead of applying their usual rant about "personal responsibility" to their own party.

So why didn't the Dems do anything when they were in control?

I thought the left's Big Tent had room for all views.

Guess not.

The left does and no one on the left is saying that he doesn't have a right to say it but that isn't what has everyone so interested. What got everyone's attention is that the right usually doesn't have a big tent and yet because this actor, which the right usually argues should stay out of politics andstick to acting, gave an opinon that denegrates obama a right winger jumps at the chance to use it.

Obama is attacked by the right for going overseas and "apologizing for the US" and yet here is this actor overseas denegrating the president of the US and the right jumps at the chance to use it.

Funny how you missed that contradiction, isn't it? LOL
Still bitterly clinging to the myth of the left's Big Tent, I see.

The Dixie Chicks were jerks to denigrate a sitting President while overseas. Fonda's a jerk to denigrate a sitting President while overseas. That's what I've seen mostly from rightwingers here in this thread, and it's my view, too.

Did you condemn the Chix when Bush was in office?

I usually respond as I read and in order but I saw this bs from you and felt the need to respond.

The left does have a Big Tent with a wide range of opinions. We may disagree but are far more accepting than the right who has names such as RiNO for those who don't fit the mold.

BTW what you claim to have "seen mostly from rightwingers here in this thread" didn't even start until page 5 as far as i can tell. Let me know if I missed one.

Why do people think they can go to another country and disrespect the President? I did not like it when the dixie chickenshits did it, and I don't like it that Peter Fonda did it.

and didn't occur again until page 7

At least Fonda's consistent.. he's been a complete spoiled douche his whole life.

I have my differences, and lots of them, with this President, but how dare he go on foreign soil and do this.

What a dick.

So what are you talking about??

Furthermore, I did not condemn fonda. He has his right to his opinions and can express them anywhere he wishes to express them. So why ask me if I condmened the dixi chicks?? Are you trying to claim that I am being hypocritical as you imply that I condemned fonda when I did no such thing?

BS? Oh, so you DIDN'T condemn the Chix, huh? Looks like that makes you a hypocrite, huh?

Uh huh. Ask Joe Lieberman about that sometime.

That's because they thread has been mainly derailed with stuff about GM and Obama's supposed treason. Oh, and some guy telling fairy tales about the left's big tent.

Who they'll quote is very fluid. If Babs Streisand was saying something, they'd say, "shut up and sing"!!! Same thing happened with the French. They were all socialist weenies until Sarkozy came along and now the wingnuts consider him The Messiah!!!

old enough to know you are a failure.
And how would you know that?

i use facts. those facts are your dumbass posts.

Man up, kid. People are going to say things you don't like. Get over it.

For example, I watch the Mentalist to see the Citroen. Are you talking about Barney Franks causing the housing bubble and the 2nd Pub Great Depression? Hilarious!

Sweetie.... no one is saying Franks caused it. But some of us actually recognize that both parties fucked the American people on this one. The evidence is all there for anyone with brains enough to think critically and logically.

Interestingly, about the only guy in DC who actually raised concern about it was George W Bush. And both his own party, and the Democrats dumped on him for it.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYz1rbB5V1s]YouTube - ‪Who is Responsible? (Meltdown): Fannie Mae - Freddie Mac - Wall Street - Bill Clinton - George Bush?‬‏[/ame]

But Bawney poo-pooed it...

Along with Chris DODD whom BAILED from re-election...

All of that video to end on a LIE.

FACT is that democrats were in the minority so even if all 9 democrats voted against the bill in committee it would have been passed by the 11 republicans in the majority that voted for it. Even your clip admits that all dems voted against it and all republicans voted for it, so can you explain how the minority dems blocked that legisaltion in committee as foxnews is now trying to claim??

The bill that they are talking about made it out of committee but republicans made a choice and never sent the bill to the floor for a vote. There was no filibuster because no bill ever went to the floor.

Furthermore there is NO proof that this new agency whose director was to be appointed by the president would have prevented the meltdown.

BTW I do find it funny that small governmet and less regualtion rightwingers are complaining that there wasn't enough regulation and that we needed another agency. LOL

i use facts. those facts are your dumbass posts.

um no kidding, and when they say stupid shit i will call them out on it. Calling you out would be a full time job.
I get it. You call someone a "common whore", and it's MY fault.

Typical leftist. Can't take responsibility.
of course I could use the same picture on you, seeing how you didnt like my comments, but then i am not a retard.
Objection. Facts not in evidence.

Left Wingers/Socialists are Globalists/Internationalists. They don't view the U.S. the way most Americans do. Their loyalties are not always with the U.S. A good example of this view is when this current President went to the UN & NATO for approval on bombing Libya but did not go the U.S. Congress. Left Wingers like him believe that it's more important to get UN & NATO approval for War than it is getting approval from the U.S. Congress. They really do hold these beliefs. They also have disdain for and have a dismissive attitude towards our U.S. Constitution.

Fonda is right on the BP issue. This White House did censor and limit Media coverage of the spill. It is interesting watching an old hippie Liberal like Fonda getting on him. This is why i've been saying for a long time that real Liberals are not the same as Socialists/Progressives. A real Liberal will defend the Constitution and personal Freedom. A Socialist/Progressive will only fight for Government domination of Citizens' lives. Today's Democratic Party is controlled by the Socialists/Progressives. Real Liberals are few and far between in that Party now. So Kudos to Fonda. It's a fair criticism.
