Not only did he take it over, he made taxpayers foot the bill via the Cash for Clunkers program to stimulate the company and UAW in general.

In short he took over a company, then gave tax dollars to people to buy their product... He kept his voting base employed in the process by creating a demand for UAW autos.

Oh and this was while non-union private sector workers were losing their jobs left and right.

By the way, how is GM doing now? Explain how they were doing when he had to do someting there.
