1. The BBA is dead on arrival. An aside: neither California nor Colorado fight wars or finance countries. Democrats win on this one by a nose.

2. The debt ceiling will not be fought again in Congress before the election. Democrats win in a landslide on this one.

3. The spending cuts (too much for Dems, not enough for Pubs) is a winner for the American people.

4. No tax hikes is an immediate victory for the Pubs.

Do tell me what's so Liberal about California as a state. The same state that not too long ago where Governor Ronald Reagan resided.

It's one of the most fucked up states in the country. Liberal policies run amuck. Nude gay parades, dope shops on every corner, sanctuary heaven, Hollywood, debt debt debt, killers walk free, entrenched liberal philosophy.

California voted for Reagan in '88 if I recall correctly.

President Obama got 69,456,897 (52.9%) of the vote in California in 2008. McCain got 59,934,814 (45.7%) of the vote. If California is supposedly this Liberal or Socialist paradise that you make it out to be, why didn't he win by a 25-30% margin?

Why would California pass Prop 8 or fail to pass the law legalizing marijuana if it's such a Liberal paradise? Do tell.

S&P upgrades Ohio rating after passing a balance budget warns on U.S. debt

Ratings Services upgraded Ohio's debt rating just one day after it put the United States on "creditwatch negative" on what it calls a rising risk of policy stalemate in the debt limit negotiations.

For Ohio, the rating was revised from "negative" to "stable" after Gov. John Kasich signed a new budget the ratings agency says will essentially balance the state's finances for the next two years. S&P also said Ohio is experiencing a modest economic recovery which has stabilized revenue.

In making the upgrade, the agency also assigned a "AA+" long-term rating to Ohio's $416.75 million general obligation bonds​

The budget also preserved $400 million in income tax cuts that went into effect at the start of the year. The 4.2 percent tax break was the last of five that began in 2005 under a tax cut that former Gov. Bob Taft signed into law
