NY Times; obama misspoke :D

Mr. Obama clearly misspoke when he said that. By law, insurers cannot continue to sell policies that don’t provide the minimum benefits and consumer protections required as of next year. So they’ve sent cancellation notices to hundreds of thousands of people who hold these substandard policies.

Allow me to translate from liberalish to human;

He lied, and we can't believe you bought that hook, line and sinker. But to keep the bullshit rolling we are going to keep lying, b/c obviously our fellow liberals are just that dumb.

Four legs good
Two legs better

Well no.

And the Animal farm here analogy doesn't work either.

This is a case of what you guys have been doing all along, scandalizing, conflating and taking things wildly out of context.

It's amazing that this is even an issue.

Even more so given that the last administration cost this country trillions, 4000 American troops (Not four guys in Benghazi) and American prestige world wide over, what has been shown, to be multiple lies (as in KNOWINGLY stating as fact things that were NOT true).

Don't think people aren't watching this..

It's going to cost big in 2014.

Greg Gutfeld Destroys The New York Times: ‘Does ObamaCare Cover Getting Your Head Out Of Your Ass?’

By Brian Carey on November 4, 2013

Tonight on The Five, Greg Gutfeld commented on The New York Times‘ absurd editorial stating that President Obama “misspoke” (instead of “lied”) when he promised that everyone would be able to keep their existing health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.

“So in the Suck-up Olympics,” Gutfeld said, “the New York Times gets the gold for redefining lying as misspeaking, dismissing President Obama’s dishonesty as no big deal. He misspoke. Try and use that in a marriage. ‘When I said I wouldn’t cheat, I was just talking about dudes.’”

“Misspeaking is when you say ‘elephant’ instead of ‘elevator’,” Gutfeld continued. “And Obama’s lie is that elephant in an elevator. There’s no more room for anything else.”

“But at least the Times admits that ObamaCare will not bend to individual need. To quote them:’Maternity care for those who will not have children is a sore point.’ It’s more than a sore point, you sexist pigs! What if women had to pay for prostate exams or vasectomies or [co-host Bob Beckel's] Viagra?”

That got some laughs.

Eventually, Gutfeld mocked the Times for picking a story about broccoli as the cover story for the Health section of its Sunday newspaper.

“Yeah, broccoli,” Gutfeld said. “That’s a big health scoop. Which leads me to ask: Does ObamaCare cover getting your head out of your ass?”

Hey, don't blame the NYT. They know the base is a horde of low information folks who would need help translating "...you can keep it, period!" And shame on Barry for using such confusing big words in the first place.

I just assumed Barry meant you can keep it through the next election, after which I thought it was well understood everyone was gonna get screwed over, except the illegals & few lucky lottery winners with pre-existing conditions who would no longer be responsible for their bills.

Has anyone ever noticed that many cons are not party loyalist?

I'm sure you have.

Are there any libs that aren't?

Sallow makes it very clear that he doesn't care that we were all lied to and that millions will lose their HC ins.

I prefer the line "higher promise" used by his administration...it wasn't a lie...it resulted in something that is what we think - better for you - so the benefit of the lie outweighs the deception.
Good stuff...you can't make this shit up.

How many times does Obama have to get caught in an outright lie before the dems lose their messiah blinders? Now for the rest of us, how can we have any faith in anything else that he says? Obama has lost any an all credibility that he might have had.

Whaaa....
The Booosh administration lied....Obama's administration makes "higher promises" that negates any previous deception they might have made. They know what is best for us. I know because Carney said so.

this President has become nothing but a joke

and this media (nyslimes, washingtoncompost, Cnn, etc) has become our enemies

Remember George Bush Sr. read my lip no new taxes?

If this had been a Republican who they claim, misspoke... ALL HELL would be raging and this board would be burning down from the libs on it

it's sickening

uh huh, so, answer the question, was he being truthful when he said;

"That means that no matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise to the American people: If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period. If you like your health care plan, you'll be able to keep your health care plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what."

– President Obama, speech to the American Medical Association, June 15, 2009, during the debate over health insurance reform.

.

Don't laugh, folks.

Obama lied, then he doubled down, amazingly. But the press is too invested in the guy, both professionally and emotionally, watch them back off quickly and then make excuses for him across the board. They're going to absolutely re-write history because they absolutely have to.

And they damn well may get away with it.

.

It would be funny if so many millions of people weren't hurt by his lies.

18-50 mill will lose out entirely

the plan was to help 30 mil, tops

One of the many Obama propaganda arms is now trying to clean up this guys mess...
Lenny Davis let President Clinton off the hook when he said Clinton's mistakes were "indefensible," then went on to paint some lipstick on that pig.

So now the NYTimes in full collaboration with Democrats says President Obama "misspoke," instead of lied his naughty butt off.

There is a lack of remorse on this.

It's kind of like calling something "affordable," when the real reason is to get as much information about American citizens as possible, continue to misuse spy agencies to hone in on Democrat competitors at taxpayer expense to the point of making the bogus bill "unaffordable."

And nobody loses his job nor has to say he's sorry he lied his naughty butt off.

It would be funny if so many millions of people weren't hurt by his lies.

Maybe the lesson that elections have consequences will finally sink in.

For good Democrats perhaps, the makers not takers, but good luck trying to convey the meaning of consequences to their masses of low information dolts who couldn't care less anyway.
