EV sales are growing year over year and 2023 continues that trend. In the last few years, electric vehicles have taken off in the consumer marketwww.energy.gov
Myth #1 isn't that absolute numbers are declining. It's that growth is slowing.
Myth #2 isn't that there is a lack of charging infrastructure. It's that there is an insufficient charging infrastructure for the governments vision of converting to EV's.
Myth #3: is actually correct. Consumer interest is waning as evidenced by the growth rate slowing. Which I don't believe the government has addressed in their attempt to "set the record straight."
Myth #4: that EVs are not affordable enough to compete with traditional combustion vehicles is too soon to know because unless there are drastic increases in lithium production there will be a bottleneck and we all know that when that happens they will fill the high end EV orders first because that's where the better profit margins are.
