Number of electric cars sold has PLATEAUED, with inventory piling up and prices slashed - but sales of gasoline vehicles remain strong

EV sales have stalled at around 100,000 a month for the last six months
The average price of a new EV has slumped by $13,000 in the last year....

Hybrids, fine. Full electric, no thanks.

Article basically said the limited market of younger affluent virtue-signalers is tapped out.....The next step is dems figuring out ways to force people to buy them. First the carrot, then the stick.

Come on youngins' please, buy electric......It's for the kids- they need these jobs!

It's far worse than that...
Joe has
Subsidized production (you pay for that)
Subsidized buying (you pay for that)

And is trying to force competition out (you pay for that)
THE MAN IS A MORON

Not only those things you mentioned but dumbass Joe is using our money to buy charging stations for the idiots that bought the damn things.

Why should I have to pay for your charging station?

Hybrids were the way to go but the Democrats screwed the pooch going all in on the Pro-China full EV campaign.
Hybrids are economically viable. L-I batteries are terrible technology for vehicles.

Tesla has the only half way decent L-I vehicles and they all cost an arm and an leg.

Exactly. Hybrids are the best of both worlds and go a long way of accomplishing what EVs set out to do but pure EVs are bullshit for the lion's share of the buying market. Economically, electrically and technologically not ready for prime time. Another massive failed Biden government-initiated effort to decide winners and losers in yet another industry.

Great deals coming soon on EV's, due to mass supply!

This could be largely due to government planning that's meant to avoid unpopular subsidies to the automakers.

The more to electric won't be stopped, but it never was imagined that it would fully replace gas vehicles 1 for 1.

The bulk of the problem has always been known to be mass transit and attitude changes.

For examples on attitudes, look at Cuba or any of the progressive European countries.

It won't matter, once the dems can't grift their way in supporting EVs the market they hoped for will die a well deserved death....Hybrids and Hydrogen cells are the future..
Nah, EV's are still in the development phase. Battery technology is the only thing holding them back. Think not being able to use your home phone while on the internet, then along came WIFI and cell phones.

So far, what has been offered as personal transportation of electric propulsion has mostly been grotesquely heavy, excessively powerful behemoths of modest range. This has made them overpriced and inadequate. One wonders how any were ever sold.
Something closer to what the VW Beetle was might do much, much better. Aiming at a 1000 kg car that can carry 5 people 1000 km between charges, which would only require about 30 kw., would be a great deal more realistic.

EVs can never be reliable

EVs can never be reliable

Probably not as instead of carrying its own fuel source and generating their own power self-contained wherever they go, with the EV the fuel is elsewhere, the power is generated far away, then transmitted great distance; the car must go to it, find it, then slowly acquire it in an altered static form and try to hold onto it, save it, and try to prevent that energy from recombining all at once explosively.

The EV is simple in theory but far more complicated and difficult in execution, that is why their development is a century behind the ICE car in practical development.

Demofks sell it as self sufficient
