Big Business Keeps Winning at the Supreme Court - The Atlantic
And as the article discussed Merrick Garland was right in the mix of "pro chamber of commerce" judges, and he was OK with Heller and the 2d mend, but he was also pro-Roe. Obama nominated Kagan who is the ONLY one not supported by the Chamber. The Turtle was taking no chances with Citizens United.
How Obama's Supreme Court Nomination Merrick Garland Could Help Reverse Citizens United
edit. My bad typo. Garland was good with the 2nd amend, but it was a little uncertain whether he'd agree that corporations have a 1st Amend right. Kagan was likely a no. And imo Sontomayor was there too. Garland could have been a third vote.
But then Again, I think Mitch the Turtle just hated Obama from deep in his tiny black center where at some past time his soul resided.
