Not sure if this is a stupid question about connecting to the internet

Oh by the way: It's perhaps time now to honor an Hollywood actor for fundamental research: Hedy Lamarr (born under the name Hedwig Eva Maria Kiesler, 11/9/1914, in Vienna (Austria-Hungaria), she died 19th of January 2000 in Altamonte Springs, Florida).

She made in her fight against the Nazis a radio remote control system for torpedos. She presented this in december 1940 to the National Inventors Council. She used for this sytem a method of her and the componist George Anthell for his ballet mècanique, where they synchronised 16 pianolas with a film. With the support of Mr. Charles Kettering (research director of GM) and a professor of the California institute of technology they prepared a patent for this invention. The precursor of bluethooth and W-LAN technology was born.
