His arms wrapped around his wife and two teenage children, Jorge Garcia's eyes welled up Monday morning as he looked into their eyes one last time near the entrance to the airport security gate at Detroit Metro Airport.

His wife, Cindy Garcia, cried out while his daughter, Soleil, 15, sobbed into Garcia's shoulder as they hugged. Two U.S. immigration agents kept a close watch nearby.

After 30 years of living in the U.S, Garcia, a 39-year-old Lincoln Park landscaper, was deported on the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday from metro Detroit to Mexico, a move supporters say was another example of immigrants being unfairly targeted under the Trump administration.

Jorge Garcia was brought to the U.S. by an undocumented family member when he was 10 years old. Today he has a wife and two children,, all of whom are U.S. citizens.

Garcia had been facing an order of removal from immigration courts since 2009, but under the previous administration, he had been given stays of removal. But because of the Trump administration's immigration crackdown, Garcia was ordered in November to return to Mexico. His supporters say he has no criminal record — not even a traffic ticket — and pays taxes every year.

its takes a low life to take a man away from his family, who has been here for 29 years , working, paying taxes and not even a ticket.

Good riddance. Criminal illegal aliens should be deported, and fined heavily to boot.

If all of you who love criminal illegal aliens so much wanted to, you can adopt them and assume responsibility for them and keep them here legally if you wanted to. The Immigration Service's website has all the info you need to do so. It's telling than none of you ever want to, yet run around crying about them as if they're victims of some kind, when in fact all they are is criminal illegal aliens.

The whining about how long they've been here illegally as if that's some sort of argument for letting them stay is just so ludicrous and absurd it's clear you're mentally ill.

You found one I'd feel sorry for.
But your using this case in a broader sense to protect thousands of others who should be deported who are being protected in Sanctuary cities. Criminals who belong in jail or at least out of America.

We can't save them all, and there is a good reason for sealing the border. They shouldn't of gotten in, in the first place.

You found one example I would make an exception for. That does not mean we let them all stay. That does not dispute the reason why we limit the number of migrants we allow into our country. Merit based immigration, not lottery. WE no longer want your poor or your destitute. Bring skills, money, jobs, or go away.

"How Do I" Guides for Employers

If they're so valuable and such 'hard workers', then why aren't their employers lining up to take responsibility for them? Where are all the 'social justice warriors' out there filing adoption papers for these 'Dreamers'? They're a bunch of liars and frauds, that's why there are no sponsors for these criminal illegal aliens.

I hate to say this but "f" it ....it's funny as hell ....he has been a criminal in the United States for 30 years always thinking he is going to get away with it and one day boom on a one way trip to Mexico..

:laugh2:

All countries have borders and immigration laws.
DO NOT have any pity for the Racist Aztlan Nationalist Democrats who brag about taking over our country and who violate the voting rights of American citizens with their voter fraud.
Deport them ASAP.

Dems mad. They just lost a vote.

That's pretty much it, that's all these people mean to Democrats, and it's based on the racist assumption that all minorities will vote for Democrats.

I remember my polock friend in the 90s get a DUI and ICE locked him up because he was to lazy to apply for citizen ship when his parents brought him over when he was young, his brother and sister did.

It was so funny as hell he would write letters to the gang at the local bar begging for some one to get him out...we just laughed at his dumb ass at the thought of him being shipped to Poland with out knowing anyone or being able to speak Polish..it was a two year running joke.

I wonder why the MSM refrained from reporting stories like this when BO was POTUS. He supposedly deported large numbers of people.
