North Dakota is the only state in the Union with absolutely no voter registration of any kind, and it has been this way since 1951, when VR was repealed in this state.
But now, an "interim legislative committee" is studying the issue and will decide whether to recommend that the ND state assembly put forth legislation to reinstate VR as of 2017.
