OUr temps today were a high of 60 degrees. Our high on Monday will be 5 deg F.. We are expecting over 2 feet of snow on the great divide. This monster storm is a 60 year occurrence. This next week will be interesting indeed..

Funny that it was caused by a Super Typhoon after all that gloating about the wimpy Atlantic hurricane season.

And how long has it been since a hurricane visited Florida? They were supposed to be hit every year according to you guys.

The U.S. has done more than it's share of curbing "climate changing" emissions. Fuck the rest of the planet if they can't get their shit together. And fuck the EPA for trying to get blood out of a turnip.

While you're at it, fuck the U.N.

We are told that we must spend trillions of dollars and put millions out of work... for what?

Future generations? There will be no "future generations" because we will be living in squalor without hydrocarbons. This bullshit has got to stop.

Nearly 80 million barrels of crude oil and trillions of cubic feet of natural gas are produced and consumed on this planet each and every day.

When it rains too much somewhere on earth, when it doesn't rain enough somewhere on earth, when it's too hot somewhere on earth, when it's too cold somewhere on earth, when the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I'm feeling sad... hydrocarbons are the culprit.

Get you heads out of your asses.

This year was the first I'd become aware of that, but it's apparently an actual meteorological category. I found these at TCFAQ A3 What is a super-typhoon What is a major hurricane

"Super-typhoon" is a term utilized by the U.S. Joint Typhoon Warning Center for typhoons that reach maximum sustained 1-minute surface winds of at least 65 m/s (130 kt, 150 mph). This is the equivalent of a strong Saffir-Simpson category 4 or category 5 hurricane in the Atlantic basin or a category 5 severe tropical cyclone in the Australian basin.

"Major hurricane" is a term utilized by the National Hurricane Center for hurricanes that reach maximum sustained 1-minute surface winds of at least 50 m/s (96 kt, 111 mph). This is the equivalent of category 3, 4 and 5 on the Saffir-Simpson scale.

As with all the past occasions of polar vortices, this does not represent a reduction of the Earth's average temperature but simply a temporary relocation of cold air masses by novel and powerful weather patterns.

= more k00k losing!!!

The people of Wyoming are going to wake up to negative 30 degrees tomorrow morning!!!

How many of those people are going to be sipping their coffee saying "Shit.....gotta do something about this global warming stuff immediately!!" ???

Exactly none......except of course, perhaps for a handful of mental cases that'll be swapping out their coffee for italian ices!!:eusa_dance::funnyface::eusa_dance:

Sub ZERO like we will have on Tuesday is not normal for this time of year. ITs about 35 degrees BELOW NORMAL.

But not unheard of in Wyoming. And of course, you do understand why the weather is going to take a turn for the worse, right?
