This can only go to show that the heart of Republicans is still in the wrong place despite the fact that nearly 60% of Americans approve of Gay marriage and protections. Therefore, no one who is Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, TS, or a supporter should ever have a reason to vote Republican. They just don't have your best interests at heart and therefore cannot be trusted to defend you against bullying, discrimination, prejudice, hate and intolerance, and even worse. Your best bet of course is if you're a LGBT citizen and have supported those who do not support you to consider aligning with the Democratic Party to receive the rights and protections guaranteed to you under the Fourteenth Amendment that you are fully deserving of that they push for at a far greater rate than Conservatives ever would.
