Sounded like an interesting western

Half way through I was wondering when the movie would kick in. It never did.
Lame homosexual backstory that never develops.

Two hour bore

Why are you torturing yourself? I had Netflix for 4 months. EVERY movie original got WORSE than the one before. It was like the Woking Dead were writing all the scrripts.

Just finished it and am still waiting for it to start.
Definitely not what I expected.
The whole time with the ominous sad music I thought for sure that kid was gonna die or get brutalized in some way.

It looked depressing.

I wish SOMETHING had happened in that snooze fest

The biggest single mystery about "Hollywood" is how the different corporate management committees decide that all of these turkeys are worth the considerable investment to produce them.

More often than not, I just can't figure it out - and that's after I've screened out the 90% that seem hopelessly bad.

The biggest mystery to me is how Power of the Dog could be considered Oscar worthy for either Best Picture or any acting category. Critics raved about it while movie viewers hated it
There is no “there” there

Thank you!
We were thinking about it... but seeing the trailer it definitely looked like they were going to throw in a homosexual element for no reason other than to put it in there.
Which - BTW - is why RT gave it 95%.

So….Power of the Dog got 12 Oscar nominations

What movie were they watching?
It wasted two hours of my life and left me asking..
Is that it?

I fell asleep half way through. But even the first half wasn't interesting enough for me to ask Mrs Clean what happened in the second half.
