No one was proven to have "hacked" the DNC server at all. Law Enforcement never looked at the server, only CrowdStrike, a Ukraine linked outfit.
As far as Wikileaks is concerned, they did release certain DNC emails. But Mr. Assange admitted the Russians weren't involved, it was most likely a Whistleblower in the DNC. Perhaps one that was killed in a whacking made to look like a "botched robbery"
