Mueller Is Looking For A Way Out Of The Witch Hunt

The OP is based on a lie. Mueller's team did not leak McGahn's information. That all came from the Trumpers.

They leaked because they lost control of what McGahn had testified. They had no idea he talked for at least thirty hours until he told them.

The WH is a bunch of total incompetents, the level of which has been unseen since Harding's cabinet.

You don't know shit, flakey.

Here, chew on this, petunia. Straight from the Slimes article.

"Last fall, Mr. Mueller’s office asked to interview Mr. McGahn. To the surprise of the White House Counsel’s Office, Mr. Trump and his lawyers signaled that they had no objection, without knowing the extent of what Mr. McGahn was going to tell investigators.

Mr. McGahn was stunned, as was Mr. Burck, whom he had recently hired out of concern that he needed help to stay out of legal jeopardy, according to people close to Mr. McGahn. Mr. Burck has explained to others that he told White House advisers that they did not appreciate the president’s legal exposure and that it was “insane” that Mr. Trump did not fight a McGahn interview in court."

And that the WH lost view of what McGahn was actually saying and for so long.

The Trumpers are simply incompetent, as well as liars.

Trump waived all privilege...both executive privilege and attorney/client privilege...

"McGahn's cooperation with Mueller was extraordinary and curious as the investigation includes possible obstruction of justice by the president and could have been protected in part by executive privilege. Trump waived his privileges, hoping the transparency would quicken the pace of Mueller's investigation and thus, put an end to a query that has put a cloud over his presidency. "

Trump confirms that White House counsel interviewed with Mueller

The White House counsel and the President do not enjoy Attorney Client Privilege on personal matters.

Take it up with Newt...

Mueller’s fatal mistake was revealed Saturday in The New York Times story titled, “White House Counsel, Don McGahn, Has Cooperated Extensively in Mueller Inquiry.” Michael Schmidt and Maggie Haberman reported that there were at least 30 hours of interviews between the Mueller team and the White House Counsel.

Don McGahn asserted throughout the interviews that “he never saw Mr. Trump go beyond his legal authorities.”

McGahn’s cooperation is historically unique because President Trump waived both executive privilege and attorney-client privilege. President Trump was so confident of his innocence that he waived both of these protections to allow the Special Counsel to thoroughly question the White House attorney.

Don't need to.
The White House Attorney and the President do not enjoy Attorney Client Privilege. Especially with something that happened during the campaign.

The only reason Mueller would leak the McGahn interview to the New York Times is he has no indication there was any collusion or conspiracy, and he wanted everyone to know he's interviewed everyone in the Trump circle.

That sentence makes absolutely no sense and you are speaking from ignorance. You have no idea what Mueller has.

You don't taunt investigators if you have something to hide.

You do when you know they won't say anything, which has been Mueller's history since this began 15 months ago. You do when you want the investigator to open up and tell you something. Trump and his lawyers are completely in the dark and they don't like it.

Mueller is in a bad spot now and he won't be able to justify continuing this $15 Million witch hunt without indicting someone in the Trump circle for something related to Russia.

I would be very surprised if he had. Mueller is not about to tip his hand before submitting his report. If this were poker, you are suggesting that a player shows his hand. That is not very bright, and I would love to play poker with you, cash only.

Mueller, put up or shut up.

That's it. That's the whole point. That's exactly what Trump and Giuliani are saying.

Mueller will show his hand when he is good and ready, and not before.

Trump could not use attorney-client privilege. Trump is not McGahn's client. He is the White House counsel.

Trump's early lawyers, Ty Cobb and John Dowd, made the mistake of thinking Trump was actually innocent, and they urged Trump to cooperate with the special counsel. That meant not using executive privilege.

We all know different now.

Trump wrote a very revealing tweet on Sunday. It said, in part, ""The failing @nytimes wrote a Fake piece today implying that because White House Councel Don McGahn was giving hours of testimony to the Special Councel, he must be a John Dean type 'RAT.'"

John Dean a rat! John Dean helped bring criminals to justice. In 1973 he played a crucial role in helping both Congress and Watergate prosecutors understand the full scope of the criminal conspiracy involving Nixon and his top aides surrounding the break-in to the Democratic National headquarters and the cover-up that followed. His testimony would have led to Nixon's impeachment for high crimes and misdemeanors, but Nixon resigned rather than face the impeachment process.

Dean's testimony contributed to the rule of law. Only a criminal would refer to Dean as a "rat." In other words, a criminal would say he ratted out a colleague, a fellow criminal.

Trump called John Dean a rat!

Mueller will finish his investigation and then present it.

Everyone will just have to wait.

Mueller and the failing Democrat Party as well as Clinton and Obama and their Criminal Clan's Reputations are forever ruined by their Coup attempt and subsequent witch hunt.

he did not leak it.... just another lie by trumpsters....

McGahn's lawyer or McGahn himself leaked.... part of the leak was McGahn is covering his own ass according to his lawyer....basically...

Mueller n team hasn't leaked a word.... and he ain't stupid enough to leak anything.... he made his hires take a polygraph before hiring with questions all on 'leaking'....

leaking would give trump reason to bitch like a girl... Mueller is too smart for that, silly willie!
and absolutely none of this can be verified as anything more then your opinion.

i have zero idea if he leaked anything or not. how could i? better question, how do YOU know? i guess trump hasn't gotten around to revoking your security clearance yet. :) (kidding around)

seriously however - we can't know what is being done behind the scenes or who is doing what. my guess is you have zero idea either but this is your own speculation.

And that the WH lost view of what McGahn was actually saying and for so long.

The Trumpers are simply incompetent, as well as liars.

At this point what difference does it make who leaked the information? Mueller has nothing on TRUMP collusion/conspiracy with Russia and now we know he has nothing on obstruction.

The longer Mueller drags out the SC investigation the more corruption within the FBI,CIA and DOJ is being exposed. Liberals need to face the facts the SC investigation has backfired. Sure Mueller indicted a bunch of Russians who will never face trial, but the win is in the exposing and firing of high level corrupt FBI agents.

So
The only reason Mueller would leak the McGahn interview to the New York Times is he has no indication there was any collusion or conspiracy, and he wanted everyone to know he's interviewed everyone in the Trump circle. Otherwise he wouldn't have leaked McGahn's statement about Trump has never done anything illegal.

The notion McGahn was covering his butt is just conjecture because he had to have Trump's blessing to even testify. Trump is increasing his heat on Mueller now and basically challenging him in public. You don't taunt investigators if you have something to hide.

Mueller is in a bad spot now and he won't be able to justify continuing this $15 Million witch hunt without indicting someone in the Trump circle for something related to Russia. Trump is getting tired of the lunatics and Democrat sycophants involved in this investigation. My bet is Mueller is wishing he never got involved in this political mess as Congress is ripping to shreds everyone involved in the conspiracy inside the FBI and DOJ.

Mueller, put up or shut up.

Trump, go interview with Mueller and use the Hillary defense. "I don't recall"
So Rickiretardo guilty verdicts yesterday! SO much for wich hunt peeps are going to jail! Pretty much proving your OP a lie! Of course there was no support for your assertion in the first place! I guess you do not mind the world knowing you are a lying peice of shit!
