Worse, IMO. Johnson may have misused us, but I never had the feeling he did not respect us, or was callous about our losses. Now, McNamara and his "whiz kids"-not so much. Obama reminds me of them; an intellectual elitist who does not really understand the military (or even try very hard to do so). I just get the impression that, like a lot of permanent civilians, Obama really doesn't think much of soldiers, and doesn't care much about them, either.
