More record heat

On Monday, Phoenix set a record high for the daily low for July 19. The warmest low temperature had been 91 for July 19 in 2005, 2006 and 2009, but Monday the temperature only dropped to a low of 94 degrees.

Yep that's summer for you. I notice though that no one has died from any of this heat. Unlike the poor people in South America. 175 so far and most of those from hypothermia..........not drowning while drunk.

Temperatures are expected to climb near 100 degrees as heat blasts New York and Philadelphia this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Highs of 99 degrees (37 Celsius) are forecast in both cities for the day after tomorrow, according to the weather service. Washington and Baltimore are expected to reach at least 100 this weekend as well.

“All the things are coming together for a really sweltering day,” said Tim Morrin, observation program leader for the weather service in Upton, New York. “That is when you are getting pretty much the likelihood of big-ticket heat stroke problems if you don’t take care of yourself.”

When coupled with the humidity in the air, New York may feel as hot as 107 and the heat indexes may be even higher in cities to the south. New York is on pace to have its hottest month on record, according to the weather service.

Like most broken records (I am speaking of the LP variety here) you will eventually go away. Your littany of hot temps in the summer don't seem to bother anyone but you. Take a chill pill.

The Russian heartland, already reeling from record heat aggravated by drought, will swelter under extreme heat for at least another seven to 10 days.

Most of western Russia will have average temperatures of 10 F to 20 F above normal through the end of July. Highest temperatures forecast through mid- to late week are 95 F to 100 F with 105 F in hot spots of southern Russia.

Most normal average daily temperatures in this area range from 60 F to 70 F with normal high temperatures mostly between 70 F and 80 F.

The Russian media have already labeled 2010's heat and drought as the worst in 130 years. Agricultural officials have said that grain output will be cut by 20 percent as tens of millions of acres of crops have been damaged or destroyed.

Yep, that's summer for you. You would think that with all the billions of tons of CO2 we've pumped into the atmosphere it wouldn't take 130 years to break the pre-existing record would you. Mus be those natural cycles again.

Oh yeah NOAA is predicting cold weather next year.

Whether you head to the beach or stay inland, it will be miserably hot Saturday.

Jim Hayes, a meterologist with the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, Burlington County, said highs will be in the mid to upper 90s and feel like 105. And because there will be a land breeze, "any cooling the sea breeze might bring won't happen," he said.

A heat advisory will be in effect until Saturday evening for the entire region, including along the coast - something Hayes said does not happen every year.

The temperature at Atlantic City International Airport in Egg Harbor Township reached 97 degrees Friday but did not set a record for the day. Saturday will be another story, Hayes said. The record for July 24 is 93 degrees, and the forecast calls for a high of as much as 99 degrees. Sunday will be just as hot, but not as humid.

This month is already one of the hottest Julys on record for southern New Jersey, the worst stretch coming July 4 to 7, when temperatures hovered around 100.

So what. It's called weather. It's the middle of summer. And the temps are being cherry picked from the weather stations that are the hottest, amazingly enough they just happen to be those right next to acres of BLACK TARMAC at the airports. Here in Nevada (in the DESERT) the temps have been below average for almost every day of summer. In fact we have had only ten days of 90 degree temps. We average 91 degrees for the months of June, July and August. Also we didn't get our first real nice day of spring till a week before the beginning of summer.

It means nothing!

It is not that any one day has set an all-time heat record, but a large area of the country has been assaulted by a succession of heat waves. Washington in June recorded the highest average temperature for the month since record keeping began in 1871 — including 18 days of 90 degrees or more. July is on its way to a similar unwelcome record.

In New York City, temperatures in July have averaged 5.5 degrees above normal, according to the private weather service AccuWeather.

In another two weeks we will once more see UAH, NASA, and NOAA all reporting that the last month broke previous records. And we will once more see the liars on this board explain how the whole of the scientific establishment are in on a conspiracy. Even their Dr. Spencer.

Central Russia faces heat apocalypse
Published 14 July, 2010, 21:35

While Muscovites are enjoying the sun, the country’s Emergencies Ministry is ringing the alarm bells.

This summer, temperatures in Central Russia have been beating all the possible records.

“The air temperature is 10 degrees higher than the long-term average figure,” Aleksandr Kats from Emergencies Ministry said. “We haven't experienced such abnormal heat without rain for several decades.”

The extreme heat has posed a number of most serious problems.

A state of emergency has been declared in a number of regions as drought has scorched more than 20 million acres of grain.

That is precisely the kind of affects that we will see more of in the future. Precipitation events, record heat and weather swings that adversaly affect the crops that we depend on.

You said the same thing about record snowfall this winter in the Northeast.

Is there anything that Global Warming is NOT responsible for?
No.

There are two things that are remarkable about the rise in CO2 levels.

One is that the rise continues to increase, and therefore its effect grows stronger and stronger every minute of every day.

The other is that the melting of the arctic permafrost will release the arctic methane which is 20 times stronger in its greenhouse effect than CO2.

And these effects all work within the framework of the natural variation of El Nino, La Nina, and the Sun's activity level.

The global warming denialists will dismiss this record heat wave any way they can,

but at the first snowstorm of the year, not long from now, they'll all come stampeding in with their threads mocking global warming.

"It's just our luck that we have to come to Washington on the hottest day ever," said Janyne Pos, 42, who sat under a tree near the White House.

"Hottest day ever" was not far off. Washington's high temperature was 101 degrees. The heat, which was linked to one death and a river rescue, set a record for the date. It was five degrees above the old record.

And you can show this in a Lab, right?

You can eliminate all variables except for a 200PPM increase in CO2 and get the same results, right?

I'm not mocking it, I just want you to show me in a laboratory setting how you successfully isolated all variables except for a 200PPM increase in CO2 and get the same results.

Can you do that even one time?
