The general population does not want to see either Trump or Biden as nominees.Maybe so but currently he wouldn't even be able to do that.

While there are polls which show this, then why are they the top two nominees for president, by quite a bit?The general population does not want to see either Trump or Biden as nominees.
Hard to say. While there are polls which show this, then why are they the top two nominees for president, by quite a bit?
Somehow, your post does not jive with the truth:
This is supposedly a democracy and if Americans didn't want either one, neither one would be the top in the polls. Republican voters seem to favor Trump and Democratic voters seem to favor Biden.Hard to say.
My guess is to many lazy Americans, when asked who they prefer, go with a name they recognize.
When asked specifically about Trump and Biden, a majority say they do not want them to run.
Do you really want an authoritarian regime?Yet another Dem attempt to drive a wedge between Trump and his supporters, pitiful really. Meanwhile in the real world nearly 90% of Republicans and over 40% of independents support Trump running in 2024 regardless of the fake indictments.
Do you really want an authoritarian regime?
No,
We want President Domald J. Trump
Don't you see what he is yet?
There are more indications that Donald Trump's problems are resulting in losing more potential voters.
A Marist institute of public opinion conducted a poll that found a majority of 56% of Americans think former President Donald Trump should drop out of the 2024 presidential race because of his second indictment involving his alleged "willful" possession of classified documents.
Trump's MAGA supporters are sticking with him but 58% of independents feel Trump should leave the race.
Independents will be key to determine the President in 2024.
