This is supposedly a democracy and if Americans didn't want either one, neither one would be the top in the polls. Republican voters seem to favor Trump and Democratic voters seem to favor Biden.

A Marist institute of public opinion conducted a poll that found a majority of 56% of Americans think former President Donald Trump should drop out of the 2024 presidential race because of his second indictment involving his alleged "willful" possession of classified documents.
Trump's MAGA supporters are sticking with him but 58% of independents feel Trump should leave the race.
Independents will be key to determine the President in 2024.

The biggest electorate are independents. Some how Humpers keep conflating that Trump is popular with illiterate republicans with everyone else. Fewer than 1/3 of all voters are registered republicans. Independents control political outcomes, not republicans. Of course, they have known this for years and is why they’ve engaged in voter suppression since Reagan. Repugnants have been on the road to fascism and apartheid for decades.
