The 40-year-old man, only identified by the surname Yu, was taken into custody late Monday after he allegedly attacked the kids at an elementary school in Chaoyangpo village of Enshi city in Hubei province.

Well, apparently, he didn't have a semi automatic rifle, because the article said they didn't know right now what was used in the attack, but there was only 8 kids that were killed.

If he had some of that American can do spirit, he would have used a semi automatic rifle with large capacity ammo, and he would have gotten the body count into the double digits. At least, that's how schools are shot up in this country. /sarcasm

I'm pretty sure that if he had a semi automatic rifle, the body count would have been MUCH higher. Besides, China doesn't allow private citizens to have guns, only the police, military and whoever the government decides needs them.
