Kicking and screamin' all the way..this nut is going to have to pay..bigly~

A Texas judge denied Alex Jones's motion for a mistrial on Thursday as jury deliberations resumed in a defamation case over the U.S. conspiracy theorist’s false claims about the Sandy Hook mass shooting.
The mistrial request followed the disclosure at trial that Jones's lawyer accidentally sent two years of the U.S. conspiracy theorist's text messages to the plaintiffs.
Federico Andino Reynal, an attorney for Jones, told Judge Maya Guerra Gamble that attorneys for the plaintiffs should have immediately destroyed the records. An attorney for the parents, Mark Bankston, used the texts to undercut Jones’ testimony during cross-examination on Wednesday.
Jones, founder of the Infowars radio show and webcast, is on trial to determine the amount of damages he owes for spreading falsehoods about the killing of 20 children and six staff at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, on Dec. 14, 2012
Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis, the parents of slain six-year-old Jesse Lewis, are seeking as much as $150 million from Jones and his company, Free Speech Systems LLC, for what their lawyer has called a "vile campaign of defamation."
Heslin told jurors on Tuesday that Jones' falsehoods had made his life “hell” and led to a campaign of harassment and death threats against him by people who believed he lied about his son’s death.
Jones previously claimed that the mainstream media and gun-control activists conspired to fabricate the Sandy Hook tragedy and that the shooting was staged using crisis actors.
Jones, who later acknowledged that the shooting took place, told the Austin jury on Wednesday that it was “100% real.”
Gamble issued a rare default judgment against Jones in the case in 2021.
Free Speech Systems declared bankruptcy last week. Jones said during a Monday broadcast of Infowars that the filing will help the company stay on the air while it appeals.

Jones faces a similar defamation suit in Connecticut state court, where he has also been found liable in a default judgment.

The nerve of this fellow. He tried tovimply that he handed it over willingly yesterday. Is he a bigger liar than Trump ?

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the "Holy shit, I am totally fucked!!!" look on Alex Jones face when the Plaintiffs lawyers confronted him about his perjury.

They've already given a copy of Jones' phone to the DOJ who wanted them for their January 6th investigations about the extent of Jones' involvement in the planning and execution of the insurrection. Jones' had been fighting that subpoena.

They're now going through the texts, emails, and call logs on an individual basis, and notifying law enforcement officials/departments of anything that might be of use on an "as needed basis".

They've already offered evidence pertaining to the upcoming trial to the plaintiff's lawyers in that case, and since they received these documents freely from Jones' lawyers, with no restrictions on their distribution, it would be perfectly legal for them to publish them in a newspaper if they wanted to.

Jones is said to be in negotiations for a "cooperation agreement" with the DOJ

This is all so delicious that I'm pretty sure it's fattening.

I have to agree..watching this guy get roasted was the highlight of my day. The fun continues...as further ramifications become apparent__

The release of Jones’ private messages may have bigger implications for the conspiracy theorist. The date range cited by Bankston could include messages sent before, during and after the Jan. 6 insurrection. Jones was present in Washington, D.C., on the day of the riot and frequently hosted Oath Keepers leader Stewart Rhodes, who is facing charges of seditious conspiracy, as a guest on Infowars.
While the court was on a break, Bankston could be heard talking to his fellow attorneys. “You know what nobody’s thought about yet?” Bankston said. “What happens when that phone goes to law enforcement.”
It’s not clear whether Jones will face additional legal ramifications for his actions at the trial, although plaintiffs’ attorneys have signaled to the judge they already proved Jones lied repeatedly on the stand. Jones’ conduct has earned him the disdain of Gamble, who on Tuesday told Jones multiple times that he had to stop rambling on the stand and answer questions directly.

“This is not your show,” Gamble said. “Your beliefs do not make something true. You are under oath.”

When shit like this happens, it restores my faith in the laws of Karma!!

The nerve of this fellow. He tried tovimply that he handed it over willingly yesterday. Is he a bigger liar than Trump ?

He promotes lies and conspiracy theories to gin up outrage against liberals. Then he sends his doxxing army after his victims, in this case the parents of children who were murdered in the Sandyhook school shootings.

He portrayed them as "crisis actors", and said that the shooting of 17 young school children was a "hoax" and the parents were actors, all staged as an excuse to pass gun control legislation. These families were attacked, threatened, their homes shot up, and many had to move and hide their identities to protect their families. I think there was at least one suicide.

If he were to be strung out over a fire ant hill covered it honey, I wouldn't shed one tear for him.

Dale Smith and the rest of the Tin Foil Hat brigade will raise that amount for him on a Go Fund Me page.
hey..these were just the compensatory damages...the punitive award is still being determined.

The Austin jury must still decide how much the Infowars host should pay in punitive damages to Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis, whose son Jesse Lewis was among the 20 children and six educators who were killed in the 2012 attack in Newtown, Connecticut.
The parents had sought at least $150 million in compensation for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Jones’ attorney asked the jury to limit damages to $8 — one dollar for each of the compensation charges they are considering — and Jones himself said any award over $2 million “would sink us.”

It likely won't be the last judgment against Jones — who was not in the courtroom — over his claims that the attack was staged in the interests of increasing gun controls. A Connecticut judge has ruled against him in a similar lawsuit brought by other victims' families and an FBI agent who worked on the case. He also faces another trial in Austin.

Yeah, that was sweet.

Evidence indicates that the president's crack head son might be involved in a international scheme involving the U.S. and China but the left focuses on Alex Jones and Sandy Hook. WTF?

"was the highlight of my day" The pleasure you give yourself is only the pornographer (reiterator) in your head. Those who know the cost of nazi-dem-controlled media pornography chronically molesting every living man, woman and child in America can get their revenge in November. What's that value?

Jones is a despicable excuse for a man.
