Common sense thrown out the window as usual. I disagree with calling them animals though. Many of those being bussed probably don't want to be in school to start with. Time to rethink 12 years of school for everybody.

I hated my H.S. because it was in a poor Black neighborhood but I did learn one thing; that Racism can come from anybody, no matter your Race, Creed or Color.

Any Racial group that has the Majority in numbers WILL be prejudiced towards all others, guaranteed. It's just how Humans are, and at Long Beach Poly, Blacks had the numbers.

But they are individual students, who are entitled by law to a competent, safe public school education, just as much as the individual students of the Lily-White superior school districts. Why are the individual students to be condemned to stay and deteriorate academically in an environment where education is not only not guaranteed but is problematic at best? Because their parents can't afford to live in the Burbs? Where is that in the State constitution? White kids get a good education in clean and modern facilities, and poor/black kids get a shitty education in a run-down building with marginal teachers and staff. But they are both equally entitled to a free public education, provided by the State of Missouri, are they not?

If not, why not?

They tried that in the 70s and 80s. Kids didn't get to go to their neighborhood schools. Instead they were bused. Inner city kids went to the white schools, white kids were bused to the black schools to even the playing field or some such thing.

The schools that become predominantly black began failing. The white kids in inner city schools pulled their new schools up.

It's not the facility; it's the students.

I think it is because the whole village is populated and ran by ****ty people.

I am not a socialist like you. I do not support ANY federal government involvement in any local K-12 school. All public schools not on military bases should be funded (taxed) and ran exclusivily by each local area. Period.

All the federal monies thrown at schools in urban wastelands has been a waste. The lazy, violent, corrupt and ungrateful people who make up these bad areas can only expect their schools to be a reflection of themselves.

There is also no incentive for these locals to do more for themselves, their children or their schools when federal funding is handed out like candy on Holloween.

Most cities try to keep clean by keeping their garbage contained in the landfill. Liberal socialists like you in St. Louis want to spread it around.

The bussed students will hate it. They will not feel part of the school. They will not take part in after school activities, PTA, Mother's Club, Recognition nights, afternoon parent days, anything extra, will not be part of the calendar for the bussed in students.

There will be no sports for bussed in school students.
