Minnesota Supreme Court says Minneapolis' $15 minimum wage can stand

We bail out everyone else. You can continue to say we shouldn't but that doesn't matter. We do.

I agree it’s not going to change. That doesn’t mean we need to expand the number of groups we allow to take advantage of it.

As long as there are those pushing for socialism for the rich, I'm going to advocate for the middle and lower classes.

it should be much more than 15, my friends!

Why? What is there that makes the act of pushing a broom, flipping a burger, or cashing out a customer worth $15.00 (or more, as you suggest)?
Why? So we can stop subsidizing their wages with food stamps. Burger flippers get shot and beaten up by customers on occasionally and it`s probably a harder job than your cubicle work. McDonald`s gets it. They will no longer lobby against a raise in the minimum wage. The $15 dollar an hour employee is likely to stay on the job a lot longer than 6 months.
McDonald’s won’t lobby against $15 federal minimum wage proposal
And why should they when they can already replace most of their MW workers with machines? Have you been in a McD's lately? You order at a kiosk and wait for it to come out. There's maybe one person behind the counter to talk to if you want someone. Machines today can make burgers and fries and pour drinks better than a human can, especially a MW worker who doesn't give a crap. What's left? Somebody to come in and sweep the floors once a day and make sure the machines' hoppers are full.

Understood. Thing is employers today have it so so easy finding great workers. They can treat even their best workers like dirt as it's easy to replace them.
Really? There are more jobs than workers to fill them. It's a worker's market.

When all the jobs are replaced with machines we will replace the pay with a basic wage.

Which will simply become the baseline price for everything, and inflation sets in, thus requiring it to dramatically increase every year, rendering it meaningless.

Its not. That's the wage I earn doing a very complicated job that not everyone can learn to do.

All this will do is drive businesses out of the State. Whoever came up with this $15 an hour minimum wage ain't to bright and sure doesn't have his residents best interests at heart.

It's not going to end there.
