That's what will happen when sources demand that unskilled/uneducated employees get these kind of wages. These current politicians (4 freshman congresswomen) are demanding minimum wages be raised across the board & free health care along with other freebies for all.

If you can’t survive without exploiting low skilled workers, you don’t deserve to stay in business

Not one single employee in any job is there against his will

And many have no other choice

If you choose to better your skills so as to be more valuable to an employer then you will be paid more.

I find it funny that when I post that a 15 n hour MW will actually harm service worker who depend on tips no one replies.

Why do you want a person who can make 600 bucks on 2 10 hour weekend shifts to have to work twice as many hours at 15 an hour ?

We all know that if the MW is 15 an hour that waiters and service people who get tips will lose out on that deal because no one will tip a waiter at that pay

Shouldn't everyone get cost of living raises so that they can afford food and housing? I don't expect them to live fancy but better than a bunk house, a cage like they do in Hong Kong or a coffin hotel like they do in Japan. If a job can't pay enough for the person doing it to pay his rent and feed himself then it should be automated.

Or your worker needs to live in a group setting with other employed people and/or stop having babies.

Maybe they can go back to the days of when we had share cropping, farming was booming in those days.

Not all labor is worth the same pay. When you start paying too much then prices must likewise rise. When everything costs more and the purchasing power of people who were making more than 15 an hour before the wage hike is reduced all you do is create less of a market for goods and services. When demand shrinks, companies go out of business

Pres.Trump is the only one to be trusted. The rest of the Republicans that were in power during the previous administrations. That they saw what was going on. And they didn't even tried to stop it. Like what just happened at the congressional hearing about the condition at the detention centers. The congressman was grilling the head of CBP. Yelling at him about immigrants sleeping on poop. The CBP agent didn't defend himself. He could of have told the congressman, to show him a little respect. And before the congressman started flapping his lips. He should of told him to show him the photos or recordings of immigrants living in these conditions. They know that they cannot make any allegations without any physical evidence. I know that AOC has a camera or video recording device on her phone. Did any of them asked her why she didn't take any photos or recordings? This is all a staged event. Wasting tax payers money on frivolous congressional hearings. The swamp is so deep. People better start focusing on who to get rid of, and who to replace them with. The corruption is in both parties.

Sadly, then even those that go to college and get a good paying job, have so much student loan debt, the amount they make at their job is cut off at the knees by the loan repayments they have to make for several years.
