No, Pence would get "crucified" because the majority of American voters would see him as Trump's #1 enabler. He allowed Trump to run amok...and said nothing. While (if he were the nominee) that would play with the conservative Christians, it would turn most sensible voters off. Pence has no integrity.

Now, being fair, Pence was the VP, not the Prez. Still, you see some of the shit Trump pulled and you not only make no attempt to reel him in, you're his #1 cheerleader.

Pence would do better making sure no man ever got into an elevator alone with his wife.
