Meet the Astroturfer Planning to Swift Boat Obama

The political phrase "swift boating" was created by liberals who defended John Kerry's fraudulent Military record. Kerry commanded a "swift boat" for about three months in Vietnam and during that time recommended himself for three Purple Hearts and a Silver Star. Other Sailors who served on swift boats came forward and disputed Kerry's self proclaimed heroism. Use of the political term "swift boating" is disrespectful especially when it is expanded to politicians who never served in the Military but what can you expect from desperate democrats?

John Kerry is history. This is about righties trying to unfairly tarnish President Obama's signature achievement as president of getting bin Laden. President Obama did exactly what he said he'd do while campaigning for president - including going into Pakistan to get him if necessary.

This will BACKFIRE in a very bad way against all swiftboaters involved.

At least Obama closed Gitmo, just as he promised when campaigning.

Cut the deficit in half

and kept unemployment under 8% too!

There would have been absolutely no way for Obama to walk away from a failed mission. None.

But what if no one ever knew about that mission. It wasn't made public before the take down. Stop a minute and think, would we really have known it failed??

obama couldn't help himself. He would have made it public and blamed whoever it was to be blamed. He would have said that it was Bush's fault because his policies led to inaccurate intelligence. He would have blamed Admiral McRaven for a flawed plan. He would have blamed the inept Navy Seals and questioned the necessity of the program's existence. He would have been the innocent victim. Why did the Seals fail? They wanted him to look bad because they were all racists.

Even if this completely ridiculous scenario took place..it would not have helped. Ultimately it was Obama's decision.

I was going to say something about that and I'm glad you did. It's a typical Alinsky or Cloward-Piven strategy to come up with a derogatory name for those who go against dear leader. When military members speak out against a Republican, the libs practically kiss their feet, but when anyone speaks out against Obama they are ridiculed.

now how do you credit Bush with allowing us to be hit and crashing the world economy?

"Yes, it's the swift boating of the president," says the founder of a dark-money group claiming to speak for ticked-off Navy SEALs.

Veterans for a Strong America describes itself "a grassroots action organization committed to ensuring that America remains a strong nation by advancing liberty, safeguarding freedom and opposing tyranny." Founded in 2010, the ostensibly nonpartisan group kept a low profile until earlier this week, when it posted a splashy online ad that uses statements from President Barack Obama to suggest that the commander-in-chief boasted about his role in killing Osama bin Laden, dishonoring America's military in the process.

"Heroes don't politicize their acts of valor," the ad declares amid shots of American soldiers and quotes criticizing Obama's "shameless" and "despicable" attempt to claim credit for bin Laden's death. Not all of those quotes are in context: The video flashes "Obama Spikes the bin Laden Football," a headline from a post in which Mother Jones' Kevin Drum wrote that the bin Laden raid proved Obama's "leadership."

"Yes, it's the swift boating of the president, in the sense of using what's perceived to be his greatest strength and making it his greatest weakness."

"I've been in touch with a number of Navy SEALs and special operators… We're gonna be rolling some of those folks out soon."

Why does President Obama take so much credit for killing Bin Laden? - YouTube

In other words you can't stand the fact that some veterans are exercising their freedom of speech rights. Somehow I doubt you'd be complaining if they were endorsing the Hussein, but since they are not, then they are clearly "out of line".

Anyway, its clear that Obama is going to use the "I got 'em" theme for his re-election, since it was the only positive thing that happened on his watch. Taking credit for someone else's good work is the only thing this President is good at. Let the chest-thumping begin...

Don't know, but if Romney follows Obama and starts doing things that are straight from the books of radicals, I'll criticize him sharply. Anyone familiar with the strategies of these far left idiots knows that the liberals follow them to the letter.

How about the Bush trashing of our top Terror guy who warned Bush repetedly about OBL?

Do you remember "Wag the dog"?

Ah..so you think it's cool that Mitt Romney took part in pro-Vietnam war protests then went to France?

Kerry was swiftboated because he claimed unearned valor. But, he was there! obama wasn't even there. obama doesn't need to be swiftboated by others because he's doing it to himself and Bill Clinton is helping. How Clinton must despise obama. He has to. Clinton is not a stupid man. He connects with people and understands them far more than obama does. Clinton had to have known that the effect of his words describing how horrible it would be for obama had the misson failed would be devastating. If Clinton knew that this statement was far FAR removed from "I feel your pain" and deep into the territory of "I want you to feel my pain" why didn't he say something? I can't believe he didn't recognize the arrogance of that statement.

Ummm, yeah, Obama wasn't there because he was six at the time.
