Waiting on the Cowardly Dante!!
Washington Examiner ^

Next week, Senate Republicans could pass Obamacare repeal with a simple 51-vote majority as part of the long-term highway bill, according to Sen. Mike Lee. The Utah Republican laid out the argument in a press release after party leaders set the sequencing of votes: "The first Obamacare vote on Sunday will have a 60 vote threshold, and Democrats will likely block it," Lee continued. "But thanks to the sequencing of the votes we just locked in, Republicans will have the opportunity resurrect that Obamacare amendment later on in the process, and put it back before the Senate in a manner...

And tens of millions that did have health care DON'T! You scum want EVERYONE ELSE to pay for you bastards.... learn to do it yourself, or DON'T GET COVERED!

Well sure, that sounds like a terrific plan! And the GOP loses all the way around.

The Senate, using this trick (which is perfectly legal, of course) passes it with at least 51 votes. It goes on record as having passed a bill to repeal Obamacare.

President Obama then goes on TV and warns what will happen to millions and millions of Americans if he doesn't veto the bill, which was supposed to be the long-term highway bill, but hey, let's throw the "kill Obamacare" thingy in there.

A big scare would ensue. People would be really, really pissed. Wonderful.

Then, President Obama vetoes said bill, it dies right there, but the public would know exactly WHO tried to kill Obamacare.

All that work on the part of the GOP - for nothing, and lots politically to lose.

And you know who will be smiling the most?

Hillary Clinton.

So, yeah, by all means, l'il sluggers, go with that!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And tens of millions that did have health care DON'T!

You can prove this, of course. Using facts?

Meanwhile, taking the humans out of the equation, you're cool with adding $137 billion to the federal deficit?

The Republicans should just "Deem It" passed as Nancy Pelosi did then watch Liberal heads explode!

And ten of millions more saw skyrocketing premiums and increased deductibles with the health insurance they already had. It seems all you folks can do is hurt people.

How about providing the trends for employer provided health care?

How about providing the trends for employer provided health care?

Please do. You'll note they've been plummeting since the 1970s.

Duh. Much of the supposed increase in individual enrollment is due to people losing their plans and being forced to purchase ObamaCare (at a far higher cost than their previous plans).

If you call that a success, you're goal must be to destroy the health care system.

tens of millions??

Not even close. The "official" estimate is 8 million but that doesn't factor in the millions that lost their coverage. By any measure it's a huge failure. Sorry.

I'll ask you the same question Vigilante's apparently unable or unwilling to answer: Can you prove that? Or is it just "Well, like, my sister-in-law's cousin said..."?
