Mayor resigns after calling old black people "antique farm equipment"....

wait......
After nearly 60 years of integration, desegregation, affirmative action, wealth redistribution, anti-poverty programs and forced diversity we STILL HAVE RACISM in this country ?????
I find that VERY difficult to believe.

But but....big government is such a great thing! Let's have MORE gubbment programs! Better yet, let's vote for Socialism and give government FULL control!

It was a dumb question, yeah. Do you honestly not get the punchline?

So "old black people", so, mayor attacks... old black people. OLD.. ow... You ever seen somebody call Satchmo a mean name? I mean both parties would just become bewildered.

Mike, do you need the punchline explained to you, as well? Holy shit!

No I don't believe I do, referring to antebellum slavery and its in Maine? Which ended Slavery a lot sooner than slow-moving traditional states.

Playing coy and ignorant of the punchline is like how a teenager would talk to their parent when theyre spoiled and in a meaningless argument.

Not yet. Can you explain it to me since you seem to know? This may be the first that I have ever heard of it.

God bless you always!!!

I'm literally not coy. Perhaps you best just tell me the actual punchline! You didn't say it anywhere. I checked. One thing's for sure, suddenly, some 30% blacks up north to the North's name, and they got Imperial legislation again how it all works out the best down here without talking to a single black person, I could probably meet 10 white counselors with great intentions and I talked to one black person.

Antique farm equipment refers to outdated farm equipment that we no longer use.

Black folks were slaves, on farms...

It was a reference to slavery...

Im not sure how anyone with any type of common sense.....whether left, right, racist, loving, gay straight or other......

could not understand that that was the punchline.

This website is amazing!

^^^ I do apologize. I was not thinking about slavery.

God bless you and those who have been a victim of it always!!!

Holly

P.S. Thank you for getting back to me.

reminds one of a downton abbey line, of a very offended elderly accountant to Lord Grantham, why "Matthew is the new broom, and I am the old". People don't just toss out 'brooms' so to speak in those days, unlike yankee factories.

Upon reading this story black people across the country responded, "Where the fuck is Maine?"

There's more blacks in one section of my town than Maine. It's a mixed section, too. :aargh:
