Tied for second highest, behind May 2014.

Jan - May 2015 is still the hottest Jan-May on the historical record.
Hello, is this weather central .................

No. this is BULL SHIT Central... GISS has been manipulated again by the left wit fools. This time there is no escaping the lie and deception they are invoking.. This lie is for all the marbles in Paris and Obama's dream of remaking the US into a socialist command and control state.

There is no reason for the adjustments made by Gavin Schmidt over at GISS unless you count on political prostitution for getting your agenda shoved down America's throat.

Mr. Billy Bob, of the climate agencies, the GISS rating was a bit low. And we had record rainfall for any month, period, in May. In spite of the fact that west of the rockies, the states are in severe drought. Perhaps you should abdicate your alternative universe, and join reality.

Moyhu, who is always reliable, says June 2015 GISTemp anomaly is +0.76C. It's not on the NASA page yet. The Japanese say much the same, and does Moyhu's own system.

That would be the hottest June on record, beating the June 1998 super El Nino year anomaly of +0.75C. Unless a supervolcano suddenly erupts, 2015 will end up the hottest year on record, by a significant margin.

FYI - The climate has been changing since the beginning of time, nothing new. And, the climate will continue to change until the end of time, nothing new. The Earth has experienced many climate changes, from the boiling hot to the ice age, and back again. So, what's all the interest in temperature changes? What's unusual about fluctuations in temperatures? Where's the alarm? We may see a cooling take place a hundred years from now, no one knows for sure.

Fallacy. Natural climate changes don't mean humans can't change climate. It's like claiming that since forest fires used to be all natural, humans can't cause forest fires.

We know humans are causing the current warming. And that there will be much more warming, and that it will do bad things. Due to our greenhouse gases, there is no possibility of seeing any global cooling for several centuries, barring sustained supervolcano eruptions. We know these things, and a personal unwillingness to believe it doesn't change that.
