Marriage Beliefs: Honesty, can't we ADMIT we have political differences in bias and beliefs???

GoFundMe Blocks Fundraising for Embattled Baker Who Refused To Make Gay Wedding Cake, Citing "Hateful" Acts
Ace of Spades HQ

They shellacked Sweet Cakes by Melissa, a Christian-owned business, with a $135,000 fine for refusing to bake a gay wedding cake.

So people tried to chip in -- through GoFundMe -- to pay that fine.

And the "Jalverts of the SJWs," as Rod Dreher calls them, demanded GoFundMe block the use of its site for this purpose.

And GoFundMe -- which now enters the list of companies which must be boycotted and hopefully destroyed -- complies.

So, there we have it: the Social Justice Warriors, not content to have driven this bakery out of business, are now trying to prevent people from giving the bakers money to pay their monumental fine. It is not enough for the SJWs that the Klein family business was destroyed. And it is not enough that the Kleins are now struggling to feed their five children, and facing a $135,000 fine that will probably drive them to bankruptcy.

Nope, the progressive stance is now to grind those people to dust, in the name of social justice.

And yet Hillary Clinton took millions and millions in "charitable donations" despite being a legislator who could block gay marriage -- and claimed the desire to do so, until the polls on the issue shifted in 2013.

Great video showing Hillary "evolve" precisely as the polls changed.

Remember that thread I started about how dimocrap scum and Nazis are essentially the same people?

Yep.

Substitute 'class' for 'race' and you're in the ballpark

It would have been so much cheaper for them to just have done their job eh? Lesson for you there.

Public Accommodation laws...serving customers despite their "deeply held religious beliefs" since 1964.

1st Amendment to the Constitution, serving Americans since 1789
And still alive and well, but not so much in business setting. If the boss tells you to shut up or that state to bake the stupid cake, do so, or face the consequences.

@emilynghiem

A couple I know, who've been married for a kabillion years are thee most perfect ever.
Until politics come into play. She is a dem, he is a rep and damn they have some of the funniest quarrels I've ever witnessed.
It doesn't matter to them if they quarrel in their home or in public.
The cutest part is she is about 5ft 2in, he is close to 7ft tall.
They quarrel, get over it, and are lovey dovey after.
So sweet.

I believe in equality.

Unless you disagree with them, then BAKE THAT DAMN CAKE

Public Accommodation laws...serving customers despite their "deeply held religious beliefs" since 1964.

Comparing the gross injustices of separate economic systems enforced by law during Jim Crow, and a couple having to spend 1/2 an hour finding another, equivalent baker is comical to say the least.
There was no need for another baker, just as there was no need for another lunch counter.

You do know that race is not the only thing listed in Title II of the CRA, right?

"The Punishment Is The Process" right Nazi?

We both know they're going to win. We both know it. And so do the Nazis trying to fine them.

But that doesn't matter, The Punishment is The Process

The lunch counter was only the symbol of the actual oppression under Jim Crow. And remember, the lunch counter was segregated because of the law.

You do know that the Civil Rights act included a lot of overreach, right?

The law was clear. If you can't follow the law, don't go into business.

We allow people with closely held religious beliefs avoid serving in the Military, but let a baker claim that his/her closely held religious beliefs preempt him from baking a cake for a bunch of fags?

I'm well-aware of that, the point is the same. Serve one, serve all.

You are a liar.

You defended the baker that refused to bake a cake for a KKK group.

The baker was Black and you defended him.

You. Are. A. Liar.

Believe as you wish. The law however, is an entirely different matter and there's no reason that it need take your beliefs into account.

1. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof

2. The Fourteenth Amendment guarantees equal protection of the law to all persons under govt jurisdiction
without discrimination (and the Civil Rights Act added public institutions, with the EEOC adding the language of
not discriminating on the basis of CREED)

PaintMyHouse if what you said is correct
then Christians could exercise their religion and expression by passing laws
mandating spiritual healing, prolife, and other beliefs
and not have to take into account the FREEDOM of other people who do not BELIEVE in those faith-based positions.

When the shoe is on the other foot, and it's YOUR BELIEFS being imposed upon by people pushing their own beliefs, don't you argue that Congress and govt cannot impose or establish THOSE beliefs over YOURS?

Aren't you going to argue that as a US citizen you have equal right not to be imposed upon because YOUR BELIEFS are different and are equally protected by law from discrimination?

Do you believe you have equal right to defend your beliefs by the First and Fourteenth Amendments above, or you are okay randomly leaving it to majority rule and court ruling to make laws regardless if they infringe on your beliefs or not? You don't these laws apply to defend your beliefs too?
