Yep........how does this happen in a country that banned and confiscated guns from law abiding people....you know, the law abiding people who didn't use their guns to shoot anyone....

Man killed after being shot in the head while sitting in car

A man has died after being shot in the head while sitting in a vehicle.

The victim, in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting in West Bromwich town centre, West Midlands Police said.

Officers have cordoned off part of the town's High Street following the murder, which happened at about 2.35pm on Tuesday at the junction with Dartmouth Street.

A police spokesman said detectives are gathering CCTV footage and making house-to-house inquiries after the victim was shot while inside a stationary vehicle.

Detective Inspector Martin Slevin, of West Midlands Police's CID, said: "The investigation is at an early stage.

"My officers are currently carrying out inquiries at the scene. There will also be extra reassurance patrols in the local area.

It happens at a lower rate than in the US with much less gun control. You are too dense to process that fact so will continue to make witless posts about European 'gun control'. It's what idiots do.

There is the justification for gun confiscation, from an idiot's point of view.

Sure there is. the benefits of not letting average citizens own guns (less violence, less crime) is greater than benefits of letting them have guns (compensating for tiny dicks).

every other country in the world has figured this out.
Here again is an idiot's point of view.

How did my country make so many idiots?

Gun control in USA, where it's enacted, is a joke. To think that gun control in one locality can be effective, when the whole country is awash with firearms is idiocy.
The reason a random (or targeted) shooting in other countries makes the national news, is because it very rarely happens.
In the USA, it happens so often, it doesn't rate a mention.

'Gun control' for an area surrounded by states awash with easily accessible guns is the control one has when one has no control. Gun control is only ever successful as a national effort. One would have thought even an idiot could see that.

edit...Oh, beaten to the low hanging fruit...

Has there ever been a week when we didn`t have a road rage shooting here? We probably lead the world in shootings by toddlers too. Those poor Brits don`t know what they`re missing.Toddlers have shot at least 50 people this year

Clearly those Brits are just buying their guns in Tennessee and then taking them over the border. Or is Missouri?

odd that level of violence chicago is experiencing

is not occurring in the non gun control areas

I dunno, take New Hampshire. It has some of the most lax gun laws, receiving an F from the Brady campaign. They also have among the highest rate of firearm ownership...and their murder rate is just awful.

Oh wait, no it isn't. It's the lowest state in the nation.

Never mind.

Ban all cars!

No moron....you don't understand.....Britain had low gun crime rates before they banned and confiscated guns.....much lower than the United States.....then, they banned and confiscated guns from people who did not use them to commit crimes...and the result...they are now experiencing more gun crime....it went up 4.7% last year and their violent crime is off the charts....banning guns and confiscating them did nothing for them....their criminals are still getting guns and are now bringing in more of them, including fully automatic weapons....

As well...our non gun murder rate was higher than their total murder rate before they banned guns.....so again, they achieved nothing....and are still the most violent country in Europe...the only difference...their criminals do not choose to murder as often or as easily, even though they still have access to guns...

Except for the increase in gun crime in Britain, and Australia.....after the banning and confiscating...while we had a 47% decrease in gun murder after more Americans bought and carried guns......

Gun control does not stop gun crime....a countries criminal culture determines their gun murder rate...since criminals always have access to guns.

Australia is seeing an increase in gun crime....and more guns on their streets...after banning and confiscating them....and it is an Island nation......without easily accessible borders....their gun problem has increased so much that they now call Melbourne the "City of the Gun." Puerto Rico..another island...with strict gun control laws and without easily accessible borders...is the one of the gun murder capitals of the world.....

Guns in the hands of normal people is not the issue......locking up gun criminals, actual criminals who use guns...that is how you reduce gun crime and gun murder....what is it about that simple truth that you guys fail to grasp.

We had 200 million guns in private hands in the 1990s....and 4.7 million people with permits to carry guns for self defense in 1997....we now have 357-400 million guns in private hands and over 15 million people with permits to carry guns, or living in states with constitutional carry laws....and our gun murder rate went down 47%......

You are just wrong.

Except for Britain, Puerto Rico, Australia and Japan...until Japan put a 30 year sentence on gun crimes...you mean except for those Islands....right?

so according to the brady campaign

if New Hampshire gets an (F)

does Chicago get and (A)

Illinois gets a B from the anti-gun nut jobs.......so Chicago must get an A....
