The Motivations Behind the WDBJ On-Air Shooting: When Does Anger Turn to Violence?

Remind me if any of this contemplation occurred after a white guy shot 9 people? As I recall all we heard was he was a racist and evil.

Both men decided to kill certain people based on the color of their skin. Yet one is vilified and denigrated while the other is given excuses for his murderous rampage.

Part of that is Political correctness, it is accepted to attack whites as racist but it is not accepted to attack blacks as racist. Part of it is completely political. It is accepted by the Left that whites are racist and blacks are victims. So if a white murders blacks he is a racist, if a black murders white it was work place violence. Same with Islam. If a Muslim murders he did it cause he is insane or because of other factors not because of his religion.

The left has a problem and they are making it worse not better.

Fortunately I don't have to live with the bull crap anymore since I'm now self employed. Unfortunately I have to listen to it when I listen to the news or have dealings with government agencies. Avoiding the obvious was the excuse. It was several hours before media reported the obvious, a black on white crime. No mention of race for hours. With the obvious being a black racist, heterophobe murdering white heteros.

The media is focusing on the shooter's mental problems, not his racism. In the Charleston church shooting there was a clearly deranged racist asshole as well. However, the media strongly asserted that it was racism that caused the murders rather than mental malfunction.

The media is covering the shooter pretty thoroughly, however unlike the Charleston case they are largely silent about the angry racism of the black shooter.

This is text book leftist ideology. In their puny minds blacks are historically victimized by racism and have suffered as a result. Since whites have privilege and numbers there is no such thing as a racist black guy in the same sense that there are racist whites. Black "racism" and any ensuing violence is the natural consequence of hundreds of years of oppression. Therefore, we seek to understand the totality of the tragedy from the black perspective. It is a sickening clusterfuck of intellectually dishonest rationalizations that transitions the attention from the victims to the perpetrator.

Personally I do not think racism was the determining factor in yesterday's shooting or in the Charleston shooting. Rather, the motivating and determining factor in both cases is the mental damage both possess. These shooters were just fucking nuts. Many folks are racist, whites and blacks. However virtually none of them act out violently on their racist impulses. Therefore, there is more to it. They are mentally fucked up. When they snap they just go after who they hate.

The document does not mention either of Wednesday's victims by name, though it does detail his gripes with the Roanoke television station.

I didn't hear that the church mass murderer admitted to being racist against whites,

I heard the news driving home from work. ABC News reported that the shooter was black and could have been racially motivated.

I have no idea why you believe the racial aspect of this double murder is being ignored, it must be what you want to believe.
