Makers of Netflix Movie about Black Cleopatra Don’t Know Sh*t About History

is this the third or fourth RW thread on a black Cleopatra?
As everyone knows, Cleopatra looked like Liz Taylor

Romans at the time spoke with British Accents
Jesus was blonde with blue eyes and also spoke with a British Accent

Why didn’t Romans sound Italian and Jesus sound Jewish?
Historical films should make reasonable attempts to look accurate.
This was given abandon in pretty much every period movie in the 60s.
We know what Cleopatra looked like because there are drawings and busts.
She was not attractive. She looked like a dude actually. But she most obviously was not black.
Doesn't even remotely look black.
And to your post - two wrongs don't make a right.

'lol that's a good one.

WE need to start making movies about James Brown being portrayed by a blonde Swedish actor and Snoop Dog as Robert De Niro.

Hamilton was stupid enough, just the sort of idiot crap Broadway faggots would dream up.

We have always had a westernized depiction of Biblical times.

Historical accuracy was never a concern. What mattered was that the film appealed to western audiences.

So what is so offensive about NETFLIX appealing to a multiracial audience?

Did you know that the Little Mermaid was black too?

You pay almost no attention to what people write, only what you want to say.
Especially, you like to make responses to people for things they didn't say... but you make the response anyway.

Yes, you can make historically accurate Biblical movies.

Mel Gibson did it with The Passion of the Christ. All dialogue was in Aramaic. It was a box office dud

It was also an amazing movie that critics hated, and the reason they hated it was because it was Mel Gibson.
If the exact same movie would have been made by, say Oliver North, it would have won 6 Academy awards.
Rotten Tomatoes gave it 49% which is an OBVIOUS bias.

I couldn’t watch it, it was tedious

I prefer Biblical movies with white guys and British accents

I will take that as a no.

The movie was dark. And it was closer to reality. Pope Joh Paul 2 at the time made a comment..."It is, as was".

Who is he? Ben Shapiro's Dad? Are you saying he could never portray a 1st Century Jew in the Levant? Here is Muhammed's 33rd Grandson Shaykh Muhammad Abul Huda al-Yaqoubi

BTW I know Jews who look like this also.

you mean holy torture porn didn't sell?

No surprise.

I want to see the Bible Zombie Movie.

The one where the Romans have to save Jerusalem from a Zombie outbreak after Jesus infects people with the Zombie Virus.
