Damn you would think the BIG WIND FROM THE WEST could just BLOW OUT all the Kalipornia fires by herself!
Maxine Waters, who has criticized President Trump and Republicans for their “rhetoric,” has been cranking up her tone since Democrats won the U.S. House of Representatives last week. During an interview on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” the California Democrat claimed the Republican Party fears “strong, black” women like her. She also said she wishes Trump would “keep his mouth shut” about the issues plaguing her home state.
Later in the segment, the anti-Trump lawmaker was asked by host Joy Reid about a tweet from Trump. The president took issue with California receiving billions of dollars every year from the federal government and not being able to effectively combat the deadly fires that have scorched across the state. Rather than offer any policies or ideas to refute Trump’s criticisms, Waters said the president was clueless, unwilling to learn anything, and wished he would just “keep his mouth shut” about California. “We need him to bring people together, to be concerned about the safety of our families. So, again, it’s just another Trump who is again reaching in, talking about things that he doesn’t understand, and we need him to just stay away from us,” she added, with no push back at all from Reid on her comments.
