Trump preparing to remove Homeland Security Secretary Nielsen | Interior Secretary Zinke says he’s ‘100% confident’ he’ll be cleared
So it is being reported that Trump is expected to remove DHS Secretary Nielsen any day now -- which means he will have Kelly or someone else tell her or she will resign so he doesn't actually have to "fire" her himself because Trump doesn't "ACTUALLY" fire anyone.
From the article: "The president canceled a planned trip with Nielsen this week to visit U.S. troops at the border in Texas and told aides over the weekend that he wants her out as soon as possible, the Post reported, citing officials." Basically Trump wants more of a Sheriff Arpaio type to be DHS chief, Nielsen didn't demonize brown people enough on TV to Trump's liking -- Look for Fox pundits to be more rabid in their demonization of migrants in the coming days -- trying to win Daddy's appreciation and hopefully a job -- like Matt Whitaker did.
In other news, Ryan Zinke is 100% confident that all of the ethics probes surrounding him will find that he did absolutely nothing wrong and that Trump still has full support in Zinke and he won't be fired -- so that is good. I'd hate for Zinke to miss out on being able to further enrich himself while in office.
