I don't think Lynch intended to grab the ref; based on the way it looked, I think he was trying to grab a Chiefs player and accidentally pushed the ref, then tried to make sure he held on so the ref didn't go down. That's no excuse, though: Lynch wasn't even on the field for the play, there was no need for him to go out in the first place, and you always make sure you avoid putting hands on the refs in any way that seems aggressive.

On the plus side, I don't have Lynch in any fantasy leagues. I do, on the other hand, have Hunt, Smith, and Carr in various leagues.

Coaching, game plan, support around him.....as a Niners fan, I've seen Smith do some great things, but only on occasion. I don't know if he has been too used to the dink-and-dunk game, and it's taken him a long time to get into a more downfield mindset, or if his coaches/coordinators have intentionally had him play safe, or what.
