Manafort gave campaign documents including polling data to these people. Russians bought social media ads in certain states perhaps aided by those polls. Roger Stone knew that Podesta's e-mails would be released on WikiLeaks BEFORE they were released. Only 2 groups knew of that. Assange and the Russians who hacked the e-mails. Clearly the Trump campaign knew the Russians wanted him to win and he tried and succeeded in harnessing the Russian efforts.

Trump ordered his underlings to do things that violated the law. He was saved by the fact that they did not obey him.

Whether or not he obstructed a non-crime is a matter of opinion.
If you think Tweeting that "This is a witchhunt" is obstruction, then you can prove obstruction (to yourself...but not in a court of law).
But that is not the standard of obstruction, which is the active attempt to hide or destroy evidence.

You are lying about what Mueller said. He detailed several contacts with Russians connected to Russian Intelligence. What he found was no direct collusion. Trump knew the Russians wanted him to win so he accepted the help. Also since Roger Stone has not told the truth, his connection is unknown. He knew Podesta's e-mails would be put on WikiLeaks before there were up. The only people who knew that were Assange and Russians who hacked Podesta's e-mail account.

"The evidence we obtained about the President’s actions and intent presents difficult issues that would need to be resolved if we were making a traditional prosecutorial judgment,” Mueller’s team stated in the report submitted to Congress on Thursday . “At the same time, if we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment.”

"Trump’s “efforts to affect the investigation had been principally unsuccessful, however that’s largely as a result of the individuals who surrounded the President declined to hold out orders or accede to his requests.”

They did indeed find some evidence of obstruction but clearly acceded to the DOJ view that a sitting President cannot be indicted.
“And apart from OLC’s constitutional view, we recognized that a federal criminal accusation against a sitting President would place burdens on the President’s capacity to govern and potentially preempt constitutional processes for addressing presidential misconduct,”

They pointed out 10 different situations where Trump may have obstructed the investigation. Quit getting your talking points from Trump and learn to think for yourself.

Mueller’s team wrote that though their investigation “did not establish that the Trump Campaign coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities,” that assertion was informed by the fact that coordination requires more than two parties “taking actions that were informed by or responsive to the other’s actions or interests.”

And Mueller made abundantly clear: Russia wanted to help the Trump campaign, and the Trump campaign was willing to take it.

“Although the investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome, and that the Campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts, the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities,” Mueller’s team wrote.

That pretty much sums it up. Manafort was convicted of lying about his giving campaign documents and polling data to a Russian business associate.

“They also discussed the status of the Trump Campaign and Manafort’s strategy for winning Democratic votes in Midwestern states,” the special counsel wrote. “Months before that meeting, Manafort had caused internal polling data to be shared with Kilimnik, and the sharing continued for some period of time after their August meeting.”

Why would Manafort lie about it and why would he discuss strategy and turn over polling data. They weren't colluding in the sense that Manafort said 'this is what we want you to do," Rather they knew the Russians were trying to help them so they gave them the strategy and polling data in hopes that the Russians would do something along the lines of what they did. Buy pro-Trump social media ads in those same midwestern states.

Eric Holder: 'I'm still the president's wingman'

Attorney General Eric Holder brushed off a question Thursday about when he might leave the administration. Instead, the top lawman professed his allegiance to President Barack Obama.

"I’m still enjoying what I’m doing, there’s still work to be done. I’m still the President’s wing-man, so I’m there with my boy. So we’ll see," Holder said in an interview on the Tom Joyner radio show.

Holder, who's been held in contempt the House of Representatives and has been the focus of numerous Republican-led Congressional investigations, also joked that his childhood in New York left him well prepared for the slings and arrows of Washington.

"It’s tough, but when you understand what the stakes are, and what the opportunity is that we have, I can deal with all the nonsense," Holder said in the interview. "I can deal with whatever they throw at me. I grew up tough in New York City, you know, so if this is the best they’ve got in Washington, I’m ready for it."​
